Captain Martinez took our family out in his super panga to the islands. His boat is both quick and comfortable. We spent half day circling Coronado Island and snorkeling at a sandy beach . There were many birds and sea life including pelican, sea lions,...More

Enjoyed the trip itself out into the Sea of Cortez - snorkeling - lots of fish - beautiful water - rugged, rugged country. Saw dolphins aplenty and sea lions. However, our guide - Ramzis (sp?) was somewhat questionable. Too much balderdash.

Highly recommend the boat tours - we had a great time with Danzante Tours (captain Danny) and with Wild Loreto we got to see a sea lion colony!

While you are in Loreto, I highly recommend taking a tour on the Glass Bottom Boat. You can take a cab from your hotel to Puerto Escondido (about 20-30mins) and there you will board the boat. You will be greeted by Tim and... More
