The cargo ferry sails every other day when the passenger ferry is not available. We were warned the service was subpar. We spent the night in a chase-lounge in a common area. The snorers were sometimes annoying. The food could be characterized as grub and...More

Dirty, Disorganized, freezing cold room with broken thermostat, shower wouldn't drain. I can't say enough bad about the experience with 2 exceptions: Great Tequila selection & good dinner. They only make some announcements in English AND when checking in they don't tell you won't time...More

After many years of wanting to take the ferry, my wife and I finally boarded at Mazatlán, in mid-February 2017, to sail to La Paz. I think there are at least 2 ferries available. We embarked as passengers; no car; and, all in all, it...More

Generally the ferry was ok. We took a room for us with children to sleep on the way from Mazatlan to La Paz and back. The ferry itself is not new. But everything was surprisingly clean. In the night it was a bit cool because...More

We took the ferry from Mazatlan to La Paz. Two adults and our vehicle. Boarding was very organized. Be aware that only the driver may go with the vehicle; any additional people must board separately. We had an interior cabin and it was nicer than...More

Took the ferry from La Paz to Mazatlan. We were in a Toyota Tundra and also had our dog. Price wasn't too bad (around $265) for the truck and a private cabin for two. Dog was free. Gal that took us to our cabin had...More

I took the ferry from La Paz to Mazatlan, then back from Topolobampo (more about this later) to La Paz as part of a motorcycle trip down the Baja Peninsula and then over to the mainland down to Puerto Vallarta. I had always enjoyed ferry...More

First time ever on a ferry with my car. Great service! You have to buy the master cabin package as it's the best deal you can have. Ticket includes some food like dinner and breakfast. Room was clean. I felt safe all the time. Will...More

We went to the baja ferries in good hope of getting a ticket to go to la paz from los mochis. On the website this should be a daiky route, except for sundays. In their office the route is also advertised. However, the lady behind...More

Like everyone else said, you have to have a closed crate or carrier for him. Though no one seems to check much on your way on the boat, they will have issue if you don't have a storage unit for your dog. They aren't... More

I would check with Baja ferries to be certain, but I'm pretty sure you can as there were tractor/trailers on board. You might also check into the cargo ferry as you can stay with your rv on them. Safe travels

No idea. I don't recall seeing any long term parking, but I'd swing by the terminal a little early and inquire. If not, you can probably make a deal with a nearby hotel. Might be safer as well. Safe travels.
