The collection is not extensive but they chose well. And the layout is very pleasant and conducive to rich conversations. I was particularly pleased with a section they devote to life in La Paz. When we were there they were featuring street iconography, pamphlets, banners and other content that documents the social movement for LGBT+ equal rights. I also appreciated that their entrance fee is zero, to make art accessible to the masses. It is centrally located, facing the central park and the cathedral. The building is very pleasant.

Friendly staff and very welcoming. Free of charge. Two floors of extremely interesting pieces. I would highly recommend going for an hour or so.

We especially enjoyed the interactive exhibit by Ivan Guaderrama. It's very easy to upload the interactive app on your phone and makes the paintings come alive.

This is a very small gallery with just one room of paintings. The paintings feature landscapes and skull imagery. Good for a quick look. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
