We were privileged to attend a friend's wedding in this beautiful cathedral and would recommend a visit if you are walking through the city.

Very beautiful and serene cathedral. Exterior a mix of stone from the area. Interior simple, clean white, beige and gold.

The Cathedral is constructed of stone of a pale purple - mauve - which gives the building an unusual pleasant appearance. The church is less ornate than some others in Mexico, but still possesses architectural elements common to many cathedrals. The stained glass windows are quite attractive. The stone plaques outside the front door briefly describe the history of the... More

I generally head for the main church when visiting a town, and all too often I find it locked. The Cathedral in La Paz was open each time I dropped in, and is a welcome piece of old-world Mexico in the central square of a busy town. With coffee bars and a pleasant park outside the church, it is well... More

Don't spend a lot of time here, its a nice site, not a lot to see off the beat and path. Nice History, pretty anticlimactic.

We stopped here during our tour of La Paz. The Church architecture and history are very interesting. We enjoyed our visit here.

basic architecture, both outside and in. It was OK, though not alluring enough to spend more than 10 minutes; the walk to & from was not particularly appealing.

This Cathedral is small and a mixture of old and new. It is worth a visit while in La Paz, best to take a tour of La Paz and see some other local sites.

Not extraordinary, humble place, where people go in crowds. We visited the Cathedral on Sunday, just before the noon. It was more than full, the service was going on - all impressive and nice to see and hear. Neatly decorated interior.

During our brief visit to La Paz as part of a day-long tour from Cabo san Lucas, our Esperanza's Tours La Paz Encounter tour stopped here. We were able to enjoy the sanctuary and take photographs of the interior and exterior. This is a well-kept building. The skylight in the sanctuary is unique. The ceilings are beautifully arranged. The naves... More
