One of the oldest church in La Paz, nice to see the original construction and know the history .If you are staying in Los Cabos or in San Jose, be ready fro a long road trip.

We were unable to walk inside because they had a service in progress when we stopped by. We only took a peak from the doors. Nice Cathedral and the plaza in front is nice to sit and have a cup of coffee.

The cathedral was only a block away from our hotel, El Angel Azul, and across the street from a lovely square. The door seemed to be open all the time except after 9:00PM or so. Stop in and say a prayer, or attend one of the *many* masses offered daily in Spanish.

We walked all over the area and loved going inside the cathedral for a look. It is peaceful and quite lovely. Nothing more to it really than just looking around or sitting in a pew to cool off or pray in silence.

We always like to visit places of worship though out the world just for the beautiful architecture! Beautiful exterior with a plaque explaining the churches history. A service was in progress so we just peeked inside and the interior and stained glass was gorgeous.

This church was directly across the street from the hotel we were staying at. It was Christmas Eve the day of our arrival, so we had the privilege of experiencing a traditional catholic service in this very old church. It's full of old tradition, and clearly represents many generations of faith. The bells ring every hour, which makes it retain... More

When you are wandering the downtown area, the cathedral is one place you will want to include on your list of places to see. As with many towns established in the Spanish tradition, you will have the church, plaza mayor/principal and government buildings all located together and it is like that here. Take time to read the historical plaques at... More

The church and plaza across the street create that small Mexican town atmosphere, and the exterior of the church is attractive. The interior is interesting in that the stations of the cross are all captioned in English. It is a rather plain interior, but you can spend a few peaceful minutes here.

This is a very pretty mission. The outside is well maintained and they are working on the inside. Beautiful stained glass windows and just a lovely place. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful old Cathedral with lots of history. Seen quite a few wedding parties here over the years. Lots of color in the family wedding settings here.
