It was the best part of our trip! The clear water made it so easy to snorkel. It was great to learn about the history of the island. We had the best guides (Sergio and Raul) at Espiritu Baja Tours.

We decided to go to La Paz to do snorkeling with sea lions, but it was prohibited during our stay...It will be permnitted again in September (so I heared, not sure). So we decided to go diving instead of snorkeling, and...More

Excellent fishing with Baja Pirates of La Paz, BCS. Captains speak English and are very capable at finding, hooking and help landing fish.

The day we went (7/20/17) expecting to swim with the sea lions the park rangers had (for the first time ever) decided not to allow people to swim with the sea lions in this protected area. Our guide said he has been snorkeling there 50+...More

Well, swimming surrounded by sea lions was pretty excited. The only warning is when the guide start yelling"the male lion is around you and is mad"!!! Gosh I never swim as fast as that day.

It may have been an aberration of currents, but in early July the water at Espiritu Santo was very chilly; too cold to snorkel without a wet suit for more than a few minutes, and limited visibility. That said, I would... More
