The La Paz malecon is a great place to take a stroll, watch a sunset, have dinner and enjoy warm weather and friendly people. A relaxed, laid back setting. No bothersome street vendors like in Cabo San Lucas or other seaside spring break towns. Plenty of good restaurants across the street. Very pleasant experience.

It´s a nice attraction and it´s perfect for a couple night walk, enjoying the warm weather. I don´t really think you can enjoy it during the day because La Paz is a very hot place. Don´t forget the sun blocker!

La Paz Malecon is veeeery long and it perfectly suits everyone who can not live without long distance evening stroll, jogging, bicycling, skateboarding, longboarding, roller-skating! It has a perfect view as you can see lots of sailing boats, hobby cats, simple boats, yachts etc! Many of them are available for rental! Here you will always find various restaurants and cafes,... You should experience this before it gets overrun by tours and trust me just like other Mexican towns get discovered and people move there and soon becomes crowded. Now it enjoyable and in chanting. If you like to people watch, this is the place and little people having fun. There are cany stands, ice cream shops, restaurants, bars and dress... More

we spend Christmas in La Paz and enjoyed walking the malecon. There are some beautiful statues along the walk and they had it all decked out for the holidays.

We walked along the beach on the malecon a number of times over our 5 day stay in LaPaz. There are great restaurants and sites to see both day and night.

Clean with tons of families, restaurants, bars sitting on the Lagoon. Enjoyed ice cream while looking for boat operators to take us out to snorkel with the Whale Sharks.

Great place to hang out for beach, food and drink. Runs the length of town along the beach. Even good for families.

In the sweltering heat of a July days the Malecon is best at night. The entire town seems to be enjoying the cooler air and lively sounds after sunset. The ocean laps up onto the beach while families, couple and solo travelers stroll along.
