We enjoyed walking up and down the malecon. This was the heart of the city and all walks of life were walking, biking, roller blading, exercising or just sitting and watching the sun set. Early morning and later in the evening were the best times...More

The Malecon is a lovely place to take evening strolls, this is when the place came alive because when we were there in August it was way too hot to be out during the day!

This was the best malecon we visited during our drive along the length of the Baja Peninsula. My wife, myself and our dog found the seaside walk had something different each time we visited. This was a daily destination during our week in the city....More

What a good time we had we spent the day walking around visting all the local shops. If you have time vist the whale museum it all right on the water so when the sun goes down the breeze from the ocean great..

A great place to hang out with the locals. a great assortment of places to dine and shop.We would bike it every day and find a out of the way restaurant to stop at for a treat. There lots of little places tucked away.

I really did not see anything going on at the Malecon. We drove up for the day from San Jose Del Cabo, I loved San Jose Del Cabo a lot better. Don't get me wrong, the ocean was a sight to see.

The Hotel Blue is where we stayed, the room was very reasonable and included breakfast. It was a couple of blocks from the Malecon. If you are looking for a tour operator, I can highly recommend VIP. Enjoy!

Balandra Beach--our favourite--less than half an hour from la Paz by car. Other beeches right in the city, at either end of Malecon.
