The malecon in La Paz is several kilometers long, stretching along the bay of La Paz. It is always bustling with tourists and locals. You can walk, rent bikes or just sit on a bench and watch the spectacular sunsets.

Beautiful views and a great place to walk around. Also some decent restaurants in the area. The water is beautiful here as well.

Lots of stores, restaurants, and bars. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants because they seemed a little touristy, but the people watching was great. I would recommend getting some ice cream from one of the shops, finding a bench across the street, and enjoying the people watching.

The Malecon is a waterfront walk next to the Bay. Best done after dinner downtown. You will find all kinds of people out enjoying a leasurly stride. Well over a mile long in the downtown area. A must if you visit.

Just drove through here, but it had a beautiful beach, and lots of restaurants and shops. Similar to the Malecin in Puerto Vallarta, with lots of statues and art work along the way.

La Paz has a long Malecon which is exceptional for walking along the beach and takes you all the way through town. Many restaurants and activities along the way. Very friendly community and seemed very safe.

Take a stroll down this boardwalk day and night and enjoy the view. While your down there, stop at one of the many restaurants and bars along the way and be sure to stop at La Fuente for some good ice cream.

This 5 mile beach front walkway is the perfect way to people watch in La Paz. Go in the early morning when La Paz residents are out jogging, walking their dogs or biking. The evening scene is also very active with families taking a stroll, lovers walking hand in hand and teenagers skating by. Friday and Saturday nights are especially... More

The tide goes in and out and the water is actually a bay, so not really ocean front. It's quite lovely and there are a few vendors along the way. Lots of shops and restaurants along the other side of the street. Easy to walk and take in the views and breeze. Can be romantic in the evening.
