We went in early morning with less people and the water was warm and beautiful! There are a few restaurants and rentals but not open until 11 am so it is quiet and peaceful in the morning.

We camped in this beach for the winter ten years in a row - love it, love it, love it. Nowadays I just love to drive out for a swim and a play with our dogs.

No, there is no hotel nearby, other than going back towards La Paz to the Pichilingue harbor area or the Marina near Costa Baja. It is a 20 minute cab ride to a hotel, back towards La Paz.
