We went on a Saturday. Parking lot full, palapas taken (last time I visited there were no palapas..) Still a pretty spot, but not what it was ten years ago.

One of the best beaches we visited when in Cabo. Was worth the drive of 2 hrs with screaming/hungry kids in the car. You can walk all the way across and the water would reach a little over your waist. Water is a little chilly...More

This was a clean beach with free plapas if you get there early. You can walk around the rocks to the Flower Rock when the tide is low.

This beach is beautiful, but the day we went there were WAY too many people. The water is calm, clear and shallow. Perfect for famililes with small children and conveniently close to town. Fortunately we found other beaches nearby that weren't as congested.

Just a short 30 minute drive from La Paz, definitely the nicest beach in the area. The road is not marked very well but if you hit the ferry port you are on the right track. Nice clean shallow water, great for kids. There are...More

Take everything you need, because they don't sell a thing here, but pack the cooler, some shade and spend the day swimming in this natural pool!

We had our own car. We drove from LA to Baja. Sounds like getting a ride would be a good idea.
