Loud, though maybe we caught a special (bad) day?

Looked like a beautiful beach, but we couldn't walk far enough to get away from the awful blaring music from the loud speakers,.... so we left and went to Tecolote beach instead.

Simply stunning. So scenic and chilled out. The only minor negative was a bit of broken glass on the main beach.

We rented a car for the day and drove down to Tecolote and Balances beach for the afternoon. We didn't get a chance to stay too long in Balances since it was near 5pm (sunset). But from what I can see, this is a perfect place for kids. Miles of pristine, shallow water will guarantee your kids to have a... More

A beautiful picturesque spot. We anchored there on our way to la Paz and just can't wait to go back.

Like the Maldives! Shallow water and multiple small cove beaches set to a mountain background and beautiful natural rick formations. Authentic, quiet, clean and seemingly undiscovered. One if my favorite beaches in the world so far!

Calm water and beautiful white sand beaches are nice, but go around the corner past the mushroom rock and the snorkeling is great! Lots of animals to see and just over 30 minute drive from La Paz. Tide pools are great on low tides, too.

Just about 30 minute drive from La Paz this place is quiet, calm and so naturally beautiful. This is still a virgin beach location so nothing but water and sand. There are no restaurants or hotels at the location but is a short drive from La Paz with great sights on the way. Great for a romantic intimate get away.

The tide was low the whole day so the kids could search the tide pools for treasures with no problems
