We went on a Saturday. Parking lot full, palapas taken (last time I visited there were no palapas..) Still a pretty spot, but not what it was ten years ago.

This beach is excellent for those who can't swim well since the crystal clear water is pretty shallow. And the best part, at least for those who'd rather travel by foot than with a rental car, is that there IS a bus that goes here...More
This was a clean beach with free plapas if you get there early. You can walk around the rocks to the Flower Rock when the tide is low.
This beach is beautiful, but the day we went there were WAY too many people. The water is calm, clear and shallow. Perfect for famililes with small children and conveniently close to town. Fortunately we found other beaches nearby that weren't as congested.
