This is one of the most photographed and popular beaches in La Paz, and for the Baja as well. About a 30 minute drive out the bay from the city, you wouldn't know it was there until you made the final curve. White-sand beaches, and...More

At low tide you can walk all the way across the bay. The water is warm and the sand is fine. Also the location of El Hongo (the mushroom rock).

We headed out to Balandra mid morning and the place was already busy! Rented chairs, table and umbrella on the beach and enjoyed the fabulous view. Also rented a SUP and took turns paddling in the cove. The water is so warm and shallow you'd...More

Beautiful beach in the middle of the desert, perfect for kayaks. There are no bathrooms there, so you can go to the town next to Balandra, no more than 4 minutos away, the name of this beach is Tecolote.

One of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been. Feels like being in Greece. Unfortunately some people visiting are loud, noisy, irrespectful and lack in education and sensitivity to admire this paradise.

Water level waaay too low and very crowded no umbrella rentals available. People selling mangos tried to rip me off bought 2 mangos and gave them a $20 USD and try to give me back 60 pesos.

Beautiful beach with colors that reflect a true acquarium. A bus service from downtown La Paz make it easy to reach from town without the need of a car, snacks and drinks can be bought on place and kajak rental is available as well. It's...More

Does anyone know if there is a bus from Cabo to this beach? Also does anyone know if there is a boat or ferry of some sort to the island, or is that by tour only?
