อ่าวน้ำเมาแห่งนี้ ไม่ใช่ จุดหมายปลายทางหลัก ที่นักท่องเที่ยวส่วนใหญ่จะเดินทางมาครับ เพราะเป็นที่พักอาศัย ของ ชาวประมงท้องถิ่นเป็นหลัก ที่ไม่ได้ มี วิวสวยงาม,หาดทรายสวยที่ทอดตัวยาว เหมือน สถานที่เที่ยวอื่นๆ เช่น อ่าวนาง ที่อยู่ใกล้เคียง ความเจริญ จึงยังไม่คืบคลานเข้าไปแบบก้าวกระโดด แต่สำหรับท่านที่ต้องการหาที่พักแบบเรียบง่ายเป็นส่วนตัว ได้เรียนรู้ความเป็นอยู่แบบชาวเล ถือว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งสถานที่เที่ยว ที่น่าสนใจครับ เพราะว่า จะมี พิพิธภัณฑ์สัตว์น้ำ จังหวัดกระบี่ ตั้งอยู่ ท่านสามารถเข้าไปเที่ยวชมได้โดยไม่เสียค่าธรรมเนียมในการเข้าชมแต่ประการใดครับ และมี สุสานหอย ที่มีอายุ ยาวนานถึง 40ล้านปีก่อน อยู่ที่บริเวณปลายสุดของอ่าวน้ำเมาแห่งนี้ครับ อีกทั้ง ท่านสามารถที่จะเลือกซื้อชิ้นงานหัตถศิลป์ ของชุมชนชาวเล ที่ทำจากเปลือกหอยได้ในราคาไม่แพงเลยครับ
