I read all the reviews from TripAdvisor, and my mother would like to have a market tour in addition to a cooking class. Hence, I chose Smart Cook Thai Cookery School. We wanted to have a daily cooking class and market tour on 17th April 2017. Initially, the person-in-charge had instructed me to either make full payment or 50% as... More

We were privileged to find we were the only people to attend the cookery class the morning we went so we had our own private class! Our host was amazing, he picked us up from the hotel at 8:30 and took us to the market to gain ingredients for the day, he was keen to teach and ensure our experience... More

I dit the evening course, it was much fun and i learned a lot about Thai cooking. We were with 3 so there was a lot of personal attention. If someone didn't understand something she takes time to explain. Afterwards we received a book so you don't have to write everything down yourself. Would recommend

Not to say Thai food isn't great but every cooking class we do here it seems to be the tastiest freshest examples of their classic dishes. This was no exception! Easy to follow all prep (and washing up!) taken care of for you. Just the fun of cooking and eating! Delicious fresh plenty for leftovers and they sell beer too!... More

Our family stayed in Ao Nang for 4 days, and when it said "rain" one morning, my husband and I decided last minute to look into a cooking class. The driver picked us up from our hotel (included in price) and dropped us back on the beach. It seems like the owner and instructor "Tu" is running it out of... More

This was a real experience in the sense that it did not feel touristy - we were taken to a cooking school run at their home a week ago and learned to cook amazing dishes with a patient and excellent teacher (Mak). My teenagers who grumbled and complained about doing this (beforehand) ended up rating it as one of their... More

My wife and I booked on the telephone hotline, were picked up at our hotel then had the cookery course at Lanna Thai Home Cookery School, the converted house of the tutor Tu. There were four students and we cooked 5 dishes each ( a choice of 3 or 4 for each) and made the curry paste for the curry... More

A good place to visit in the winter, friendly and nice staff with clear and good command of English . We paid 1600 baht per person to cook a 7 courses meal so it's a very good deal! They even gave us a lovely apron each as sovenirs Recommended !

We booked through the phone number on TripAdvisor because the website registration form didn't work. We were picked up on time at our hotel for the short course but wondered where we were going when it seemed we were much further past the website address. We ended up at private residence. We were greated by a very kind woman, Tu,... More
