Wonderful nature trail, well worth visiting. Beautiful mangroves and river. Perfect for a walk surrounded by nature. Also can swim in one place too.

We had been here before but things change depending on the time of year and the tides so, when we were in the area, we didn't hesitate to visit again. Be warned, if you're not Thai, you will be expected to pay a much higher entrance fee. It doesn't matter if you live in Thailand, have a Thai driving licence etc, the policy of having two prices is inflexible.
The walk doesn't take all that long if, like many people visiting when we were there, you just walk round showing more interest in your mobile phone than nature! Take your time...look up as well as down and keep noise to a minimum. There's a wide variety of bird life and if you are lucky you will catch sight of the local monkeys. Amazing trees, wild orchids, water monitors and other aquatic life abound here.
There is a large car park with toilets(5 baht) and the inevitable food stalls.
Well worth visiting.

This was one of two visits we did to a mangrove forest. At this one you can walk and experience the forest and at the other you could canoe. Both worth visiting and being able to swim in the amazing clear water

A wooden walkway through a mangrove wood and along a turquoise river makes this a beautiful spot for an easy shaded stroll. There is even a spot to swim. Fantastic.

We were there in the afternoon time, 3 pm and the water was quite low, but the place was amazingly beautiful. Clear water, lots of fish. Very good "route" to walk, and swimmingplace. Entrancefee 100 baht. Really worth going.

We were here on rainy season, the rain made this place very fresh air. Beautiful crystal clear blue water. We walk around 1 hr and learning ecosystem of seawater and freshwater. Not much people if you visit during low season. Far from the airport but you can hire guide with a car to visit here.

Lovely natural fresh water spring, meandering through native bush. Swimming is allowed but only in certain areas. A couple of local eateries are available.

Hidden away in Krabi Province, this short mangrove board walk and swimming area was quite a treat.
Shaded walkways with easy access was enjoyable, but no handrails, so young children would need close supervision.
Definitely take your swimming clothes, as the water was clear and warm. The time we visited, there were some children enjoying one of the deeper pools.
Plenty of activity in the water, with crabs and fish to be seen from the board walk.

is it wheelchair accessible? thanks

Hello Mantas G,
If you a solo traveller. It might be a problem at the entrance. It is a wild door which is possible to roll the door and open for you. If it is rusty and not possible to roll the door. Then it is still wild enough for wheelchair but it will be about 10 cm. high. The pathways inside is wide enough for wheelchair but no any fence. If you go there during weekend. I am sure many Thai tourist will be around and offer help more than you bargain for.
If you go there with wheelchair person. It is quiet easy with the pathway. Just hold wheelchair at all time since there are no fence.
