Great safe area for walking. There is a large dam with a path around it. There are steps to the beautiful picturesque tiny village of Lymm which is well worth visiting. Has some great pubs for food and beer.

I have so many memories of Lymm Dam and it is just a beautiful place. You can walk from the village and then around the Dam, a couple of miles at the most. It's fairly flat so not at all strenuous. At the far end...More

Not really it is quite rough under foot in places and hilly in others. It would be possible if you are able to go down a few stairs there is a few benches at the beginning of the dam. Which is still nice to do on a nice day.
