Apart from offering quiet stay and sea view, there is nothing more that this place has in store. Food was disappointing.
Staff was courteous and warm hearted.

It is a very small site, most of which is a hotel with restricted entry. There is nothing to see, other than a chapel in the centre. But the view is quite stunning, taken by the restaurants so makes more sense to book a table to enjoy the view from atop.

There are 2 ways to reach -
1. Ferry from querim beach
2. By road via Maharashtra - we took this one. Though a rental car from Goa cannot cross the state border.

The views from the hotel and the prompt service provided by the hotel staff is unmatched & beyond words. My family and I were here for 4 days and being a vegetarian did not face any issue with our meals in fact being a small boutique hotel it has a wide variety of food (across cuisines and desserts). Our entire booking experience and the stay at the hotel was memorable. Again, really appreciate the efforts put by the staff (sales, on ground & F&B) to make our stay by far the best we had ever had in Goa. Thank you!

Fort Terekhol was in our wish list from last few Goa trips, but somehow we couldn't cover in our previous visits.

Finally this time we visited Fort Terekhol for the view and restaurant, and we weren't disappointed.

However, it is way too far and has 2 ways to reach. We explored ferry while going to the Fort, which carried us along with our bike to the other end. While returning we took road which needed us to cross Maharashtra border and then come back to Goa again :-)

Overall, if you are just travelling for view and restaurant, it can be too tiring (depending where are you staying)

However, you also have option to stay at the property which we didn't explore, as it is too far for our liking.

For people who are only visiting too glimpse a view of beach/ cliff and exploring fort, there is no washroom service. People there ll proudly say if ur using restaurant than only washroom is accessible. As if entire fort is taken over by hotel. There is no common washroom inside fort or outside the gate as well.

Btw view is very nice.

This Heritage hotel is worth it's price for just the breathtaking sea views from it's rooms alone. But we loved our stay for much more than that - the rooms were spacious and tastefully done, the staff were friendly, polite and always willing to help. The experience was wonderful from reservation (thank you Saranya!) to checkout. The food was well made and delicious, enjoyed a lovely dinner and full complementary b'fast. But please do add a few more menu options for vegetarians at The Tavern.
It was a family trip for us and the kids enjoyed exploring the fort and the trip across the river by the ferry to the Querim beach.
All in all a very welcome and satisfying weekend break from the routine of WFH and online classes. A big thank you to the entire team at Fort Terekol Hotel.

Fort Tiracol is nested high on a hill overlooking the confluence of the river and sea.
We drove to querim and then took the ferry across which was a experience as we had not taken a car on a ferry before.
The view is spectacular and its such a quiet and nice place.
We at the cafe in the fort. I personally liked the food and service.
Nice place to just sit, eat, drink beer and relax.
Its for people who like history, want to just relax and not be busy all the time.

This is a stunning location on the clifftops looking down to the gentle roar of the ocean. I recommend taking the regular ferry across the river, and heading up the road to the fort from there. The fort itself is only really viewable by walking the walls, and its not set up for history buff tourists. That said, it'd be a good place for kids to stretch their legs and is a nice drive. Make sure to call ahead to reserve a picture perfect table on the terrace!

Relaxing day trip on scooter from wherever in North Goa. Drove up from Baga to escape the chaos, had a sumptuous lunch at the heritage hotel- nice service-- and took the Tiracol ferry over to the beach after to frolic. Very peaceful!

Took my fiance here after our engagement after spending a week in south Goa. I was a little nervous taking a 1.5 hour taxi up north away from the main areas, but what we found was absolute magic. The staff was amazing, the scene was gorgeous, and so much history!!

Enjoyed our stay and hope this place remains somewhat of a secret ;-)
