3rd visit ...Goatland!

Great place lots of animals that have plenty room to roam around, kids love it, food in the cafe pricey and not the best but still worth a visit x

My wife and I visited on Tuesday, 25th October, 2016. We were amazed that somewhere as run-down and overgrown as this would be able to open to the public. Pen after pen were empty as were numerous cages and enclosures. Much more worrying, however was the condition of the few animals that were on display. Notices claimed that feeding takes... More

Rather unfriendly staff member sold us our tickets. £5 per adult plus £2 for a 3 year old. We saw a couple of Shetland ponies, 2 or 3 llamas and alpacas, a couple of eagle owls and a few squalid looking pens containing chickens. Place is literally falling apart, health and safety nightmare, as well as the fact that it... More

Decided to go here on last day of our holiday as there was a leaflet left in our accommodation, wish we had not bothered. First impressions were good though alarm bells started to ring as only one other car in car park at 11AM, expecting to pay over £20 admission for our family but told that they were only accepting... Went here a couple of years ago and had a lovely time but on our visit this year found the place to be falling apart. The animals looked sad and there weren't many of them really plenty of goats though. The people that run the cafe rolled up late then proceeded to split themselves between doing stuff with the animals... More

After hearing all the bad press about this place possibly closing we decided to go and have a nose about and see what was happening at the park. This was our third visit and small improvements are being made...slowly. Although the place is still in need of a paint job and someone with a strimmer tidying up the place. The... More

This place has a great potential to be much better but it seems that it lacks the support from local community and council. It probably had better days in the past as you can see that a lot of money was put there but it seems that they are making little money to keep up with running all they use... More

I get the impression that this park could do with a huge injection of cash! On saying that, I don't think that the staff were giving 100%. When we got there the admission room was locked and we had to stare through the window for the door to be opened for us. We were then informed that we could give... More

Dirty. Animals looked uncared for. And was expensive for what it is. I won't be back. Has gone down hill over the years

I was in the area on a holiday and whilst my family all headed to a theme park, I have a one year old daughter who would have been to young to go on anything, me and my partner decides to take her to this country park instead. We spent around two and a half hours here and had good... More
