An amazing location and impressive sanctuary. Although during our visit the weather changed rapidly and started raining heavily and fog was obstructing the view, it is an inspiring setting. We were very fortunate to attend a mass service in the Ancient Basilica which was very...More

Well worth visiting to see the ancient chapel and the Black Madonna. We walked there from Biella but there was plenty of car spaces available. The accommodation was clean and basic but understand there are more upmarket suites

Interesting stay - very busy in August which is to be expected. When the coaches leave it's magical and quiet. Breathtaking surroundings and for those faithful worshippers a wonderful retreat.

This is a former monastery. The rooms were the cells the religious stayed in so they are not large. We had 2 twin beds, hard, thin mattresses with rough sheets. After a long day of touring and lots of walking we didn't really care and...More
