Well kept, clean, not many people in October. Dog friendly but best kept on lead. Free parking. There's actually 2 beaches, one which isn't visible from the car park as you have to walk around the rocks to access it. Both as quaint as each other.

The ruggedness of this inspiring coastline buffeted by the gentle ocean is excruciatingly beautiful, as well as mesmerising. The bordering of aqua-marine-azure combo and the cliff greenery is spellbinding making a plunge into the briny an irresistible addiction. We arrived by cycle, motorised I'll have you know and enjoyed the facilities of the bar right on the beach. The ruins... More

A nice beach, very picturesque. Take the path through the rock to the hidden beach. Most definitely worth a look! There is a small bar which serves amazing sandwiches!! Much better than expected. Bar staff were friendly and spoke good English. Prices at the bar were reasonable. However, there is a 2 euro charge for the car park and a... More

Cala Domestica it is one of my favourite Sardegna's beaches. It is reachable by car and 7-8 minutes of walking. We can snorkel on both side and you can see a lot of fish. You can also climb on the rocks in the left side and the view from the top is absolutely beautiful. On the beach it is also... More

It suppose to be one of the best beaches in Sardinia. Unfortunately we were not lucky and due to strong wind there were high waves on the sea. These waves prevented us to enjoy the water, therefore we spent only limited time here and continue in travelling around Sardinia. Rocks, coast and beach looks nice, even on photos from Google,... Very nice little bay that is perfect for a late afternoon swim and drink. At the beginning it was a bit crowded but around 6 most families left and it was really nice to relax close to the beach bar which played some good electric tunes.

We dragged ourselves away from Porto Paglia because so many people had said that Cala Domestica was magic.... and they are correct! There's a huge beach and then this peaceful view out to sea where you can even swim through some old tunnels linking one beach to the next. Basically it's the calm of the place - probably not the... Last August I had the fortune to spend 2 Sunday evenings at the "Oasi Beach Seaside" bar in Cala Domestica, Sardinia, and I have to say that for me it was an unforgettable experience. The landscape was incredibly beautiful, the atmosphere warm and familiar, the treatment at the bar excellent, the food and drinks delicious. I therefore strongly recommend this... More

The landscape is very spectacular at quite unique in that part of Sardinia. However in August it is very crowded and noisy.

Well noted as the set of some commercial ads on television, Cala Domestica is also at the crossroads of nature and history, of mountain and sea, due to its location on the famous trail n.301, Galleria Henry / Cala Domestica / Buggerru, linking some of the most exciting and important places for the history of mining in Sardinia (and almost...
