It is a beautiful beach with many interesting rocks. Some rum shacks around where you can get really nice fish clippers and cold beer (but they only take cash). I didn't swim, so I can't really say anything about the water.

Nice place to get away from it all. Very relaxing and the people friendly. Best to hire a car so you can get around easily. As it a quieter part of the island. Great scenery.

Very picturesque beach which reminds me of Hawaii to some degree. I don't remember the name of the restaurant right on the beach, but the two women who run it were very nice. The food was awesome and plentiful!

Bathsheba Beach is on the Atlantic side of the Island. A surfers Paradise but not for swimmers because of the powerful waves and undercurrents. It provides for very nice views and has a pretty fishing village. The main attraction is the huge boulders on the...More

We hired a car - big mistake - the roads are full of potholes and we limped in with a puncture to the cafe. The views are spectacular and is a brilliant place for surfing - we saw a surfing school and several photographers enjoying...More

Heard so much about Bathsheba and was expecting something very special. Spent ages trying to find the place through miles of bendy roads. Finally arrived in this tiny village with two bars / cafe's and little else. Walked through a garden area and was greeted...More

Well worth a visit just too see the views. Get yourself a photo beside on of the rocks. These rocks have been undercut by the sea and look like they are just balancing where they have been placed.

If you are a surfer, this is a great beach for you. I am not a surfer, but I loved the view and I took some great pictures. Beautiful vistas.

The windward side of Barbados is like being on a different Island. Very few people and wild, wide open scenery are dramatic. Huge boulders that are undercut by the tides look like mushrooms. There is a great beach restaurant for lunch and a beer before...More

By taxi, about an hour. Negotiate a deal to have a taxi take you around and wait. If you have lunch at Atlantis hotel, the restaurant provides lunch for driver. I think the drive can be around $70 USD. There are van... More
