The East Coast of the Island is very beautiful, and a visit to Bathsheba should be mandatory! The scenery is some of the best to be found on the Island, and there are a number of small beachside restaurants, as well as more upmarket hotels/restaurants, if that's your thing. While you are here, you should take a long walk on... More

Great place for a couple of beers (only $3 each) after being on the beach. Good range of small rums and soda as well. Nothing flash, but has everything a beach bar needs. The bar man is an interesting guy who is very knowledgable about the local area and Barbados in general.

The Soup Bowl is a great destination for Surfers. Parlor is just to the south. It attracts less attention but is still a good wave. The waves can be tackled by a good surfer and can also be big enough for only the pros. On par with Hawaii. It is a great spot to come by for the day and... More

We drove here in our rental car and saw surfers in the water catching the waves. We decided to have lunch at the RoundHouse and enjoyes it overlooking the beautiful view of the ocean. Prices were decent.

The waves that roll onto the beach are perfect to ride except when it is windy. But it's beautiful all the time. In low-tide the limestone is exposed revealing tide pools and sea life, and shells are abundant. The rock formations at both ends of the beach make it a beautifully rouged beach - along with the surf! If you... More

This is an area which is worth visiting when you are in Barbados. The coastal views are absolutely stunning. If you go in low tide, you might be able to sit in one of their stone pools, but I would not advise swimming as this is a surfing area, ie the surf is high

Best surf beach in the Caribbean when it is on. Poor swimmers should avoid the waves due to strong currents, but there are plenty of calm tidal pools during low tide for relaxing.

Quite simply breathtaking. The constant tradewinds keep some visitors and hotels away which means it stays beautiful and realtively untouched though with a classy restaurant at either end - roundhouse and Atlantis
