Amazing I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and would happily go again. By using a historic location (Batterie Todt) it brings history from books to reality. It has many authentic artifacts from the war, including crosses and Belgian gates used by the Germans on the D-Day...More

What a museum should feel like, the proper haunting patina of the period with original paint on walls and a real sense of the scale and anxiety of war. This ‘naval’ apparatus (references to galleys, decks, seamen) is a must see for anyone interested in...More

Great place to visit to learn more about the German army's seven large forts. There are many interesting displays including one of only two remaining K5 rail guns.

Batterie Todt isn’t your typical modern museum. It’s a hulking mass of concrete that’s been weather beaten for almost 75 years and yet, architecturally it is jaw-dropping. It’s meaning and power are as rock solid today as day it was in day one. The might...More

This impressive fort is just off the main road and is well worth a visit. The displays are good and the accompanying info is short but informative and interesting. My 7 & 9 year olds enjoyed it, there is a very small shop and some...More

I only with the big gun was still here. They tell me most were disassembled and used for scrap after the war, only the bunkers remain. This one has a huge cannon sitting along side of the bunker and lot of memories inside. Well done!
