This impressive fort is just off the main road and is well worth a visit. The displays are good and the accompanying info is short but informative and interesting. My 7 & 9 year olds enjoyed it, there is a very small shop and some...More

I only with the big gun was still here. They tell me most were disassembled and used for scrap after the war, only the bunkers remain. This one has a huge cannon sitting along side of the bunker and lot of memories inside. Well done!

Run entirely by volunteers, this piece of the Atlantik Wall has been preserved to teach what was and should not be repeated. Expect to spend about 40 minutes here right from the amazing sight of the railroad gun not much unlike the one that actually...More

What an excellent museum of the coast defences with an immense gun mounted on a railway track nect to the batterie. Very surprisingly, a private museum. They have amassed an extraordinary amount of information, not only on the Nazi defences against a British invasion across...More

The Todt battery is one of 4 WW2 gun emplacements in the area and the only one that has survived. If you look through the nearby forest, you can see another one blown up and rotting away. The museum is quite small, you can cover...More

If you are in the Calais area this privately owned museum is well worth a visit. As other TA reviewers have stated outside the massive battery, the K5 Railway Gun is an interesting exhibit along with other defences the Germans installed along the Atlantic Wall....More

This is a very good well laid museum. Lots of displays (inside & out) & informational the bunker. Well worth the entrance fee. There is a shop, toilets & a outside small picnic area. Also there is parking adjacent to entrance. Make sure you check...More

Interesting, highly atmospheric place. So eerie to walk where notorious world leaders have gone before. Well worth a visit! K5 Leopold railway gun is massive.

Visited here after Eperleques and Mimeyoques. This is a good museum, well laid out. The original guns were used for scrap after the war, but it would be great if there were some form of mock up to show the scale of the original. There...More
