Amazingly well kept ruins with outstanding views from the towers. The gift shop is stocked with a variety of goods at reasonable prices. There is a small cafe in the farm next door.

Lovely place to visit a bit expensive to just walk around for an hour as the teens were not really interested in the history, live & learn not to take them to a castle

There is a cafe immediately outside the castle walls in the car park. We didn't use it but it seemed quite popular. I hope this helps?
