WE ARE NO LONGER OFFERING TOURS. The only castle on the island of Grand Bahama and the home of local businessman Havard Cooper. A rags to riches story is the life of Mr. Havard Cooper. Come and tour the grounds of Cooper's Castle and experience the inspirational journey of how Mr. Cooper grew from a young boy with one pair of pants to living in a castle. The castle is located on the highest point in Grand Bahama on 46 acres of prime Grand Bahama land. Cooper's Castle is the only Castle on Grand Bahama and is certainly a sight to see. From this location, you can view indigenous settlements on the island, capture a view of the hotels and enjoy a breathtaking view of the Atlantic Ocean. It is truly an amazing sight to see and story to hear.

Our cruise ship excursion drove past this huge mansion that really stands out compared to the poverty of some of the block homes on the Island. Bus guide gave us a brief history of mansion, however they don't allow tours. Beautiful, lush grounds and gorgeous...More

Sure would be nicer if you cold get closer to this place, but I do understand it's someone's home. I believe he's the owner of several restaurants on the island and built this place for his wife. Must be cool inside.

How can you give a castle a miss? Very interesting to hear about Mr. Cooper's life and his life of faith. Inspiring!

We always drive by just to admire this castle but we just found out they are now doing tours. Unfortunately we were not there long enough to work it in our schedule.

Good morning! We started contacting Ms. Symonette using the email address. Go to Trip Advisor, then Freeport, then Cooper's Castle and below the title is the phone number, email and such. Enjoy! Cheers! Rob
