Christian M.'s review says everything about the place that I'd say. Despite what the guidebooks say, there are no tours--not for the last couple of years. The people who work here are happy to talk about the place, the plants, and whatever else coms up...More

This is a great place to learn about the geography and ecology of Grand Bahama. It's not a botanical garden (that's more what you will find at Garden of the Groves.) This is a conservation area, with an abundance of trees and other plant life....More

Nice visit. Informative presentation about the vegetation and animals of Grand Bahama. It is a short visit so is good for kids. It is a small venue but when combined with another excursion it works well.

It’s a short walk... took us about 45 mins. Nothing amazing so see but we saw wildlife and they have injured animals to see as well. They also have a nice nature center with plenty to look at. For only $5, it’s def worth the...More

This is a City Park for the education of travelers to Freeport, Grand Bahama. It shows native fauna with a few rescued, caged animals. We had a guide that escorted us on the path, and explained what to look at. I enjoyed the Nature Center

It’s a very small scale nature center. For the price, don’t think it’s worth the trip. I would equate the place to kindergarten level of nature center.

Not for everyone, but good for those who like to see native plants and be able to identify them. There is also a pond with some wildlife. The nature building has cases with sea shells and other labeled items. Good for a nature lover like...More

It's worth your time to see this little nature park if you have time. It's a nice hike with native flora in a wild state as opposed to the botanical garden style of the groves

There are several "private" taxi services at the terminal. Some will arrange with you for a designated time for the driver to return and pick you up and return you to the terminal. This is how we managed our trip.* I... More
