This review is specifically for captain Craig and Bahamas Catamaran Charters. We booked through Craig months in advance for a day excursion for our family of 10. We confirmed multiple times leading up to the day. We arrived at the dock at 10:00 AM and Captain Craig was nowhere to be found. The crew managing the catamaran that day had absolutely no idea we were coming, or who we were!! Do you think we even heard from Captain Craig after multiple contact attempts? No! Luckily, the ACTUAL captain made it right. Make sure you book your day with THE ACTUAL CAPTAIN of the boat. Lesson learned.

Response from Bryan D, Public Relations Manager at Bahamas Catamaran Charters

With several catamarans listed on our website we do not personally captain each charter. In this case the client booked on a catamaran which we have personally been involved with since its purchase. The client changed the date of their charter and we informed the crew. The crew did not make the change to their schedule. The client emailed me the next day asking "what happened" we replied the same day. They were able to reschedule for the date on their charter agreement and it seems they had a great day. We are very happy they were able to reschedule and enjoyed the day on the water. We have started a new policy of emailing a weekly confirmation of each catamarans schedule. The catamaran has a new crew.

#1 - Best charter out in the Bahamas! Captain Craig and Prami make your day trip or week long excursion absolutely memorable! We are repeat customers (now friends) that can not say enough how this trip is a must do. Well worth the cost - boat is clean and new, bathrooms are clean and comfortable - overall perfection! We originally did an all girls day trip and came back the following year to bring our husbands because the boat trip was the highlight of our vacation. Being on the blue water, eating amazingly fresh & delicious food (filet, lobster tail, conch ceviche, stone crab), attentive service, tons of activities (snorkeling, boat jumping, sailing) or just relaxing and lounging. Captain Craig and Prami make you feel so welcomed and comfortable as soon as you arrive and all throughout the day. They are helpful and attentive but also give you space on the boat. This trip is a do not miss for any family, friend group or gathering. We absolutely loved it and can not wait to go back for another trip! Thanks again Captain Craig & Prami!

Craig, is not a Captain of honor. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone our trip. We were not allowed on the island. He gave us his word we would be able to use it when the border opened. He kept our money. Would not schedule. Charter for us. Please do not use him. This is not a Captain of honor.

We chartered a private trip from July 10th-17 2021. We thought it would be a trip of a lifetime! On day 3, the tender drifted off and Craig flew into a drunken rage. When I went up to see what was happening, Craig was throwing wine glasses and told me to 'Shut the f up' and 'Get the f downstairs'. We were anchored at the marine preserve for the evening but he pulled up anchor and took off. He was driving the boat drunk and using only a flashlight to look for the tender. This started just after 8pm, and we were all hiding in our cabin throughout the night until the Bahamian Defense Guard was able to find us at 2 am. Craig kept moving the boat making it harder for them to find and rescue us. For anyone booked on this charter, please reconsider. The rescue in the middle of the night was the scariest position I've ever been in and I can't imagine if our children had been there. Prami, please reach out if you need help or feel unsafe. I will post the communication with the Defense Guard from the night this happened shortly.
