The history of this church is great but the stained glass behind the alter is worth the trip. I can't say the type of service as we were not there during a service but the building is beautiful.

It's a beautiful cathedral and its right across the street from Pirates of Nassau. It's best to go in the morning before downtown gets busy. The church opened for us at 9AM. Regardless of your religion, the church is a very unique building that is...More

Architecture is impressive---particularly for the period. A downtown "Must Visit" to appreciate the history involved. The Bahamas have a very rich religious patronage--and primarily with British roots.

We stopped by on an early port day. The church was closed, but still a beautiful stop, as the building and grounds are amazing. It's definitely worth the few extra steps from the main town area to come and see it!

Do try visit on Sunday, see he fabulous hats Bahamian women wear.. Take time to study memorial stones set in the walls, honoring lost seamen.anecdotes of shipwrecks etc. Ask one of the Sextants to show you around...and do note the stain glass windows.

No cost to visit. And it’s in the heart of downtown Nassau so yes, you should be able to walk. I don’t know how far it is to the conservatory. Enjoy!
