We jumped in a taxi when we got off the boat and he took us here. It was an easy ride in crazy traffic. Our driver dropped us off at the entrance to Atlantis just so we could see it. We then walked over to the public beach access. Be aware: You will get hounded from the moment your feet... More

I visited Cabbage Beach during my recent cruise. It's a public beach next to Atlantis. It was a short taxi ride from the cruise pier in Nassau. The taxi was $4pp each way. The water was a beautiful blue color. Once at the beach they have beach chairs and umbrellas available for rent. The chairs were $10 per chair and... More

There are other beaches with less hustle going on. Could not relax until late in the day when the locals had to leave to catch the bus. They put in a long work day bothering tourist. The waves were angry had to keep a keen eye on my kids while they swam. I myself could not enjoy the water getting... More

Locals make this beautiful beach scary! Constant harassment of braids, banana boat, chairs, coconut etc etc Hey I'm from Puerto Rico and I know how much I should pay for a coconut and it's definitely not $20! Taxi driver warned us DO NOT LEAVE YOUR THINGS UNATTENDED my friend and I once we were there knew why! Not to mention... More

I arrived by cab to Cabbage Beach and found it bustling with chair/umbrella vendors and locals selling crafts or braiding hair. Lots of noise! And trash was all over the place especially as you first entered the beach. I heard good things about the place but this is not what I expected from the Bahamas. Texas coast maybe but not... More

This is the public beach on Paradise Island. In the James Bond movie, "Casino Royale", Daniel Craig as 007 is staying at the One and Only Ocean Club, which fronts Cabbage Beach. Thus, when Daniel Craig emerges from the water in that famous scene, it's purportedly in front of the One and Only Ocean Club. It actually wasn't - it... More

On a Royal Caribbean cruise with 5 teens, an eight year old, friends and grandma. The cruise docked in Bahamas. We didn't want to spend more money for an excursion. With a little research we found ourselves a $4 pp taxi ride to here. There's a walkway between two resorts to this beach area. Water crystal clear and warm. Sand... More

This beach is the most beautiful beach in Nassau. It has white sand and clean sea, but there is no facility around the there. Local people serve beverages only.

We visited the spot just outside of Atlantis, and while there was a bit of trash (my sister made it her job to collect plastic cups out of the water), it was absolutely beautiful. The water is crystal clear, and we could even see schools of fish swimming around us. We rented some jet skis and toured the area as... More

First off this beach is absolutely beautiful. I used the entrance by the Riu Palace Hotel (use a cab rather than water taxi). It was not crowded, the sand was soft and clean and the water crystal clear -- Only negative is the locals constantly pushing stuff on you: hair braiding, jewelry, drinks, banana boat rides even weed. I understand... More
