Our taxi driver dropped us off at the Paradise Island Beach Club, where we could walk right onto the beach for free. There were no amenities, other than a small convenience store and a few trees for shade, but the very long, almost deserted, and...More

This was a very rough beach. It was so bad it was very dangerous to go out in the water without being knocked down by the waves. Kids were actually being drug into the water by the tides. There is big dip very close to...More

The beach is gorgeous and clean. We stayed at the Baha Mar and had no complaints at all; the lifeguards will not let you go out into the ocean if there is a rip tide or if it's considered unsafe. Melia lifeguards did not care.

Nice beach in front of the Atlantis, but it goes deep very quickly causing big waves and rip tides. Be very careful. I wouldn't recommend going far at all from shore. Just enjoys the waves hitting you beachside...

Constant harassment for jet skis, umbrellas, chairs, drinks, etc. Made kids nervous. Will never go back. No bathrooms or trash cans or food. Bahamian authorities should crack down on this. It was a joke. Never again.

A LONG beach - great for walking, swimming or sunning. There are a few nearby mini-mart shops - but nothing right on the beach - so bring all you want with you...!

This is my favourite place on earth truly a paradise. The ocean is so clear and blur the beach is clean and my son absolutely loved it there. Can’t wait to go back.

I loved Cabbage Beach. Yes it was loud and yes the locals were pushy but that all added to the experience. Don't settle for what ever price they tell you. Negotiate everything. We were offered a waverunner for $70 for 30 minutes but got 1hr...More

super trashy beach, very pushy locals to buy booze and cigars. Unless you are a VERY strong swimmer I do not suggest you go to this beach!

We visited this absolutely beautiful beach a few days ago. We spend a day there on our wonderful-family-oriented cruise. Once there we could not believe how perfect the water was, but the place was extremely crowded, many locals trying to sell you everything that you...More

We just asked ours to take us to Cabbage Beach and he took us to the right spot. There is a common drop off spot where it appeared that all the taxis do drop offs and pickups.
