Beach was a 10 minute walk from the port. I took my own snorkel gear and was able to see a few fish. The drinks were expensive and not too tasty but the beach is free.

Lined with little bars and crystal clear waters this place is as close to heaven as I have found! Fresh conch fritters, BBQs drinks, great place to sit and relax or do a spot of snorkelling

Yes, you can rent chairs and umbrellas. It's not expensive to rent them either, when you rent them, you tell them where you want the chair / chairs and they bring them right where you want to sit.
