We came here on a guided tour during our stop over during our cruise. We had to drive through the poor section…it was by the fort and queens staircase.

The Water Tower in Nassau is highest structure. It looks good from the cruise port but nothing special.

Stopped by from the fort. Most interesting thing was the random old school pay phone. Old water tower of cast cement that probably was a big deal when build but not interesting. At least you came for the fort and not the water tower.

We stopped here to take pictures while we were near the Queen’s stairs. It wasn’t much to call home about but it’s not out of the way for a quick picture.

Quick nice water tower visit close to the queens staircase and fort fincastle. The water tower is not open to the public but a quick stop to take some beautiful pictures. Enjoy and thank me later

Even though we were unable to tour the inside of this massive structure, we were able to get close enough to touch it. Wonderful piece of architecture. Impressive landmark

You can visit the Queens Staircase, the Water tower, and Fort Fincastle as they are located together. We got there to find a fence around the Water Tower. According to the locals, it is closed for renovation. As this is the highest point on Nassau, there are some good views, but not sure this is worth a special trip just for this view.

Nassau was our third stop aboard the MSC Seaside cruise ship. Nassau is quite nice. Lots of shops and restaurants, plus many historic buildings. The water tower is within walking distance of the cruise ship terminal; however, it is an uphill climb. The tower is not open, so we could not go inside. There is an old fort next to the water tower. Some vendors are on-site selling touristy things. Nice views from the site.

The Nassau Water Tower is an interesting spot if you like historical attractions. They are still working on renovating it, so you really can't get too close to it. There are other things right there to see, Queens Staircase and Fort Fincastle, and if you're coming in a cruise ship and just want to walk up to see it on your own, the Water Tower makes a great visual guide mark to get there.

The Water Tower is being renovated but you formerly were able to climb up into the tower. The Tower is situated by the Queen's Staircase and Fort Fincastle. Since it is being renovated there is not a fee and you can only view and take photos of it. You will be able to notice the water tower from afar.
