We stayed at a beachfront room on Caneel Beach, room 19, and were steps from the water. I loved the foot bath off the beach to clean your sandy feet off before stepping onto your beach side porch. We spent so much time on our beach porch, I honestly think that was a combination of being amazed at our location... More

We stopped at this beautiful beach while on a snorkeling excursion. It was beautiful! Fish were plentiful to watch and the waters were calm enough to enjoy for hours!

You must park at Caneel to get to Honeymoon Beach. The first day we visited Caneel Beach. Unless you are a Guest at the lovely resort, they are not friendly. I was walking to the beach and was stopped, asked if I were a guest at Caneel. When I responded no, I was told I could NOT rent a beach... More

This beach is hot and not much shade. We always snorkel around to right to Scott beach. We leave our things on beach and never use chairs on beach they are only for resort people. When we are walking in we are always approached by guy working excursion booth who always kindly reminds us chairs are only for resort.

We were staying South Side/Rendevous bay in a gorgeous house but wanted to see some beaches on the North Side as well as have access to great food and drinks. Caneel Bay, although not remote and quiet as much other beaches can be, our group of 6 had a great time. I think the trick is to be dropped off... More

Cancel bay was not an excursion. There are transports as soon as you get off ship. $12 round trip to the beach. Very nice way to spend the day. The Champagne Catamaran took us to Honeymoon Beach. Loved this place. Worth the $$

We decided to spend the day at Caneel Bay Beach while on vacationing on St. Thomas. We took the ferry over to St. John and hopped a taxi over to Caneel Bay. It was so worth the trip! We had to pay $25 for the lounge chairs, but other than that, we felt like like hotel guests. We were treated... More

Gentle, clear, blue waters. Great swimming snorkeling, sand and sun. Snorkel equipment, sunfish sailboats, Hobie Cat - all available for guests.

The water/beaches are wonderful, great scuba/ snorkeling food pretty good and the rooms nice but a bit hippy-ish... needing some good details work.

One of our favorite beaches on St John, Caneel Bay Beach is stunning and the snorkeling is fantastic. We visit every year - this is one beach where you are almost guaranteed to see green sea turtles on your snorkel.
