The food was amazing thanks to Chef Michael,Chef Jose & the entire kitchen staff. Gilbert was so friendly at the Nasma and Godfrey. We are definitely coming back.

Loved getting to swim in the water near the turtles. I saw one but that was because I stayed in place and didn't stay out long. My husband saw a couple more. The beach isn't as nice as some of the others because it isn't as wide and it is right up against the road. There were allot of families and children at this beach. However I ranked it so high because of the Turtles.

This beach was featured in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Edition a couple of years ago and is a lovely smaller beach at the Caneel Bay Resort. I did some snorkeling here but the water in the central area is much too deep for the turtles to eat on and then surface for air. Along both edges there are rocks and coral with a plethora of fish. It was a nice place to snorkeling in but didn't take long to cover the whole area.

Turtle Bay has been a famous underwater guided snorkel for many years. My husband and I were dismayed to see the change here since our last visit 11 years ago. The coral here is so badly damaged, and the fish are not nearly as numerous as before. If you want to see beautiful coral, and are a fair swimmer, hike the Leinster Bay trail and snorkel around WaterLemon Cay...amazing coral and life there.

Laid back, white sands, cool breeze, turtles and stingrays abound at this hidden spot. There were a few other couples/families, but plenty of private room for everyone. The snorkeling and coral reefs were phenomenal. Do not wear flip flops people!! Seriously! We saw lots of bleeding feet.

Fifteen minute drive from the ferry, superb sand, fantastic snorkeling, clean showers, what else do you need. The only caveat is to try to get there early before the cruise ships bring a 100 or so people. Even if they do if you swim 30 feet out you are still in an uncrowded area and there are plenty of fish and other sea life to see. It is a national park so there is a small fee per person. There is free parking by the beach entrance

Caneel is closed so the only way to visit is by Sea. We rented kayak for day and stopped here for first time. Beautiful beach. Ate our lunch here. Extensive damage to buildings

Spend your afternoon here for perfect snorkeling at the bay's edges to see colorful fish, coral, stingray. There is no more beautiful beach, great for families with children because of the soft waves and gentle slope of the beach. The beach is lined with beautiful shade trees so this was the perfect beach at Caneel Bay to end our day.

We stayed in a second floor room on Turtle Bay. Amazing view. Peaceful sound of the waves. Close to tea service location each day at 4. Many weddings at nearby point but not a problem. Mobile bar comes by regularly to see if you need food or beverages (Debbie is the best!).

Small white sand beach. Views west toward part of St. Thomas. Beautiful water and great snorkeling for thousands of fish! Very still water!

Turtle Bay is for guests of Caneel only. There are rooms only a few steps from Turtle Bay beach (beachfront) or rooms elsewhere on the property that you can be close to Turtle Bay. It's very quiet and secluded most of the time.

Your review stated that this beach is for Caneel Bay Resort guests only -is that correct? No one is not staying at that resort will not be permitted on this beach?
