Great crescent shaped white sand (coral) beach in the Caneel Bay Resort. You can not use the resort chairs but can sit on the sand and swim in the water. Must pay to park if you are not staying there. Often conch and sea stars on the bottom.

It is supposed to be adult only but that was not always the case. Has a beach bar serving drinks and food. Spent most of our time there. Most diverse snorkeling. It's like a postcard.

A beautiful long beach that is very private. We saw turtles and rays every time we swam here and even saw a barracuda one day! This beach is quiet, never too busy, and with plenty of shade. Specatcular!

After having snorkeled a variety of places around the world and on my second snorkel attempt on St John, I finally got to see a Sting Ray in open water. It was a sight to behold. The beach is fantastic and clean but the tides are very strong. I had great difficulty swimming across the open section of the bay... More

I originally wanted a room on Scott Beach but premium beachfront were sold out. We did stroll over there and it was absolutely beautiful. There is also a little beach bar located on the beach, so you don't have to go far to get drinks and/or order room service. I asked Tim the bartender if you see turtles in the... More

This is the area I would choose to stay. Beach is lovely, snorkeling really terrific, sunsets are lovely, and proximity to food is excellent.

This was our favorite beach at Caneel Bay. The water was crystal clear and calm. Watched for turtles coming up to breath the 3 days we were there. Donkeys, birds, fish and pelicans also shared the beach with us! Bar and food service was convenient and good. Visited the other beaches while we stayed at Caneel, but this was our... More
