This place is pretty destroyed. The water is still really pretty. The sand soft. And there’s coral trying to come back to life. There’s areas you can find shade under trees. You can see all the rich people’s houses from this beach.

We did some hiking above Cinnamon Bay and the views were incredible: beaches and water in the distance, forests, ruins... Then we came down and had a large portion of the beach to ourselves. It was stunning and isolated and it was our favourite -...More

You should definitely visit Cinnamon Bay if you’re going to St. John. In my opinion, this is even prettier than Trunk Bay. It’s incredibly peaceful, and there is a great view not just looking out into the ocean but looking back from it as well!...More

This beach has some coarse and powder sand. Easy smooth walk into the water. Didn't see a lot of fish. The entrance to Cinnamon has had a lot of damage to the camping sites. Beach is nice.

Really destroyed and hasn’t been cleaned up. Guessed there’s a feud about who is to pick it up. Private leaser or national park. Maybe go to Trunk or Hawksnest for now.

This was our first stop for snorkeling and Trunk Bay did not disappoint. The underwater signs were informative. Make sure to stop at the scenic overlook on your way there.

This place use to be on of the nicest beaches with shade and little huts to spend your money. Now this was one of the worst hit bays on the island. All the shade trees are gone and all of the food huts/retail shop is...More

They are open at the beach. Many of the buildings are destroyed. Looks like they don’t plan to rebuild. That is too bad. The beach is still beautiful.

We stopped at Cinnamon Bay briefly to see how it was. The campground and facilities were badly damaged and repairs and reconstruction had not yet begun. But the beach is still one of the loveliest on the island and it seemed deeper and whiter after...More

We were vacationing there last spring and summer. We met some friends and it is a real struggle for them because they survive and count on the tourism. We love that place and hope to be back soon!,

I have not been to any STJ beach at any time of day that resembles anything like this. most are deserted in the evening. Ive gone to the beach after dinner and have practically had the place to myself.
