Jumbie was suggested to us by our villa owners and we were so happy we listened. It's a short walk down hill from the small parking lot on the road. We arrived to find one other couple on the beach. We never had more than 10 people with us and there is ample room so that everyone has space. A... More

Great small beach with a protected cove. The water is so clear, and the views are amazing. You can see Trunk Bay off to the right. I think this was my favorite beach on St. John.

There was ample parking the morning we went to this beach. The walk was not too strenuous. There were leaves on the path so couldn't see really well. Nice out of the way beach.

We stopped and enjoyed this beautiful beach on a whim, only 8 people were there so it is quite private. Peaceful and serene setting, plenty of room for tanning and a great spot for snorkeling and swimming. The beach is about 300 ft from the road but worth the short walk.

This beach is for those who like their beaches a bit wild and very natural. There are only a few parking spots so you will find seclusion here. The beach is mostly pebbly/rocky and had more waves than the other north shore beaches. Due to the moving water it wasn't as clear. Our older son loved it but I prefer... More

There is no parking and you have to walk 800 or so feet from the road to get there. Once you are there, you are greeted by a tiny beach with plenty of shade surrounding it. There are very few people there so you don't have to worry about seagulls swarming, like on trunk. The snorkeling was awesome. Lots of... More

So, once a beach that one would be alone at, no longer. This has been found. The parking limits the crowds but a few dingys and boom, its a big crowded. We went the week of July 13th and this was the only beach we got stung by jellies. The winds were strong and blew them right into shore.

Jumbie beach is very small and the sand is coarse and Shelly. The parking is limited but the beach is small. The hike down to the beach is not too long. The water is clear and snorkeling good. There was a wonderful breeze the day we were there

This is a smaller more private beach that you take a short walk to get there. Bring your lounge and your book and enjoy the peace and the lull of the waves,

Love this beach! Got a late start so parking at Trunk was non-existant. There was a cruuse ship in that day. Ended up going up the road some bc we passed Jumbie and noticed a few parking spots open - a rarity at 11am - and much to our luck were still there when we came back. Downhill trail that... More
