Located on the far east side, you will enjoy the hilly drive to ultimately land at the trailhead (short walk down to beach). Some sand and shade remains, and the snorkeling is good on either side.. This area tends to be calmer too... No facilities...

So, we were swimming along, following a sea turtle, when we notice the turtle has looked over it's shoulder, and changed direction ever so slightly. We looked in the same direction, and what comes swimming by, but a 10' or so shark. Not knowing the...More

On its own, it's a gorgeous little bay and beach. Compared to some of the others you can see, it was pretty average.

A short little walk down a gravel road takes you to this cute little bay. Of all the places we snorkeled on the island, this is where we saw the greatest assortment of creatures all at one location. Along the rocky edges we saw the...More

I was there in January and this was one of the few places where the Christmas winds were making the water too murky to snorkel. The visibility was crystal clear. Saw sea turtles, all sorts of fish and amazing coral. The beach was a bit...More

It is a short (and hot) hike to the beach, but well worth it for the snorkeling offshore here. The rocks you can see from the beach offer some great snorkeling - beware though, it's a bit of a swim. (We had fins). In terms...More

After a ten minute rocky uneven hike a pristine beach welcomes you with all its glory. A bit further away on the south east tip of the island mesns you will not run into a crowd!

You have to hike a bit to get out here and the snorkeling is a little more exposed. We ventured quite a ways out and getting in was a bit tiring. I thought it was really cool. I would recommend for experienced snorkelers only.

I don't recall seeing any mud at all. The bay is surrounded by white sand. You might see some hermit crabs.
