Sunshine Daydream Charters fleet consists of three very comfortable, spacious World Cat powerboats, with plenty of seating in the sun or shade. Our newer model and well maintained 32ft boats can accommodate up to 12 guests. You can also combine two or three boats together for parties of up to 36. All three boats have great 3 step ladders, which makes getting in and out of the water easy for everyone. We stock the coolers with ice and bottled water, and provide top of the line snorkel equipment for our guests to use. No grumpy captains here! After using another popular company in Cruz Bay that kept us on a time table where we could not do half of what was promised , we switched to this awesome crew for our next charter. They were super chill, stuck to the game plan and if we decided to change our plan to spend more time in White Bay there was no issue and no attitude. This is our 3rd time in Saint John and our 6th charter and we have found the best charter company in Saint John. The greatest part about them is that they start the day earlier than the other companies. We started at 8:30 and our Captain, Lee asked for all of our passport information early and filled out most everything in advance. This may not seem like a big deal but when you are racing to check into the BVIs with every other charter it makes a HUGE difference by hours. Lee really wants you to have the entire day to play! Coming back, ending the day at 4:30, was again a game changer for us. There was no squawking captain asking us to leave early to miss the crowds at check in, lee was laid back and allowed us to move at our own pace but very knowledgeable about the best snorkeling spots. In all honesty, starting the day early and leaving late should be everyone’s reason for using this company but the bonus of a very comfortable World Cat boat and the nicest captain really made Sunshine Daydream the stand out charter company for us.

I arranged this trip online, in advance of our vacation. A week before our travel Rob contacted me regarding a storm coinciding with our date. I knew then I made the right choice. His concern for safety made me incredibly comfortable when we finally chose another date. He was flexible with rescheduling and even upgraded us to a brand new 32 ft. boat. Captain Lee was knowledgeable about the island and found us some really amazing snorkeling spots. Lunch at Lime-out was a huge hit with our teenage boys! I will definitely be booking Sunshine Daydream again next visit!!

We had an awesome experience with Capt. Rob. He took us all around St. John, stopped at some excellent snorkeling/swimming spots along with finding a great place to eat and try a Bushwacker and a Pain Killer!!! Gave us great history of the island that only made the experience better. He always asked what we wanted to do/see and gave some great suggestions of stuff we had not thought of. We have gone with Sunshine Daydream 2 years in a row and would not go with anyone else!!! They are the best!!

We booked an extended full day charter to the BVI’s during our stay. The day we originally booked ended up being pretty rainy and the owner reached out first thing to see what we wanted to do. They didn’t have an open day but the owner worked some magic and was able to move us to the following day when the weather was much better.
We went out with Captain Joel and it was perfect. We started at the Baths, grabbed lunch at Pirates Bight, squeezed in some snorkeling, and ended at Jost Van Dyke. He fit in great with our group and didn’t make us feel rushed. Communication was great before the trip and he was waiting for us when we arrived at the dock.
I thought I lost my hat in the ocean due to the wind catching it and Captain Joel was quick to retrieve it. We saw some dolphins and fish I’ve never seen while snorkeling.
Everything was top notch and we would definitely book with them again!

Our party of four booked Sunshine for a 2/3 day trip around St. Thomas and St. John. The boat was very new, very clean and super comfortable. Our captain/guide Lee taught us about the history of USVI and about how to responsibly enjoy the ocean and the beaches. This was the highlight of our trip and it could not have been a better day.

Captain Lee was great! We went snorkeling at several locations around St John. Stopped at the Lime Out for lunch. Wish I had ordered more of the short rib tacos. The were great. Captain Lee dropped us off at the beach and we hiked to the petroglyphs. Really great day all around!

We stayed at the St John Westin Resort. There were 7 of us. We wanted to explore St John and make a visit to Lime Out for lunch. After looking at local excursions, the Westin Concierge mentioned looking at a private charter given the size of our party. (Thank you Terry at the Westin for the recommendation.)
The experience was FABULOUS! We snorkeled at 5 places, saw turtles, sharks, cuddle fish, barracudas and much more. We were able to spend at much time as we wanted at each location. There was no rushing to get to the next spot.
Snorkel gear was provided along with bottled water and ice. We are still talking about the charter a week later!
We are coming back in September and while the group will be much smaller (4 versus 7) we are thinking we may just go private again because of the fabulous experience.

We had an amazing day with Captain Lee. He took us to several snorkel spots and around the entire island with a lot of interesting information. We even had time for lunch at Lime Out !!! Fantastic day. Definitely highlight of our trip!

Another fantastic outing with Sunshine Daydream. Boat Captain Nicole was an excellent guide with a homegrown knowledge of the islands and waters. Great snorkeling and, of course, dinner and drinks at Pizza Pi always hits the spot!

We had an amazing boat day with Captain Rob. We did a half day because we have a 1 year old but still had the best time. We cruised all around, went snorkeling, and ended at PizzaPi. Capt Rob had graciously called PizzaPi at 6:30 am to ensure we had our order put in! We would highly recommend booking this boat day with your family - such a fun day on the water!
