I love going to Maho. It's nestled into a quiet little bay on the north side of the island. I think it's far enough away from Cruz Bay that you don't get as many day trippers in the big safaris. There's usually plenty of parking and you don't have to walk a half a mile to bet to the beach.... More

This is a beautiful and calm beach with wonderful snorkeling. I have many great photos of turtles in this location. You can also see tarpon and rays.

Great snorkeling at Maho. Saw lots of turtles. Snorkeling around the rocks was beautiful. Beautiful beach with calm water. Love this beach.

Easy access and great snorkeling. We went out for 2 hours on each snorkel and saw lots of Sea Turtles, Octopus, Barricuda, Shrimp, an Eel, reef fish and variouls coral. This is a must stop. No restaurants or beach bars so pack your food and drinks. No real current and an easy snorkel.

This place is incredible. People said, "you have to go and see turtles." I didn't believe them. I was wrong. It was awesome.

We stopped here after lunch on our way back to the car ferry and were not disappointed. We had met another couple at Salt Pond Bay in the morning and they said if you want to see turtles go to Maho. They were right. A few feet into the water we spotted a ray and about 5 turtles. The beach... More

Six years of visits...this still is my go to beach. Start every visit and end every visit here. GREAT snorkeling. Always see turtles in center in grassy area. Snorel the rocks to the far right.

Easy to get to, calm water, we snorkeled with turtles and stingrays. They have pit toilets and plenty of beach area to sit.

We were staying on st Thomas and wanted to do a US charter. We called Vilocity Boat Rentals. They were fantastic and have the most reasonable price out of everyone we called. We went to all the beaches on the north side of st John including Maho and cinnamon, trunk bay too! We loved the charter and st John rocks.... More
