The cost to enter the beach is about $5 per person and $2 for a car if you're driving. The beach has great facilities - restrooms, showers, kayak & paddle board rentals. It also has a snack shack with waitresses that will bring you a cold drink out on the beach. There are plenty of picnic tables - I'd recommend... More

Stunning..if you're in St. Thomas, Magen's Bay is a must see! Crystal clear water, so clear you can see the fish swimming between your feet.

We were in STT for a week and a half and decided to try Magens on a day when there were no cruisers in town. The beach was beautiful and the facilities were adequate. I see some others complaining about paying $5 to go to the beach for what is offered here. They should be ashamed of their complaints as... More

The beach is pretty with plenty of trees for shade. It gets pretty busy on cruise ship days. About 3:30 all cruisers left and the beach was nearly empty. You do pay here because of the restrooms, showers etc.

Great beach and not busy at all. We went mid week and it was quiet. Swim guards and police patrolling so leaving stuff on table no problem. Nice clean bathhouse.

So Magens bay is hit or miss. We've found that the best time to visit is when there are very few cruise ships in port. This is a beautiful beach with super soft sand and very gentle waves. We've gone in May and November and May is by far better. The waves are gentle and the sand beach has a... More

Such a beautiful place to relax, sunbathe and swim with gorgeous sand and water. You will see birds plummeting in the water around you catching fish which is quite a sight.

Only spent a short time there. Very large and beautiful beach. Nice bar with plenty of large shade trees.

My daughter and I had to go see Magen's bay beach because of all the hoopla about it being the #1 beach. It cost $5 per person plus $2 to park. The beach is long but not deep. You can rent beach chairs, rafts and other snorkeling equipment there. The cost is high with a portion being refundable. I believe... More
