Was here two days. One day was crowded, but the next day not so crowded. Many shops mostly, jewelry and clothes. Enjoyed the architecture of the buildings.

Quiet jewelry store with excellent service! If you have a specific item in mind this is the place to go. They listen to what you want. I was able to find sterling silver hoops that fastened the way I wanted after several larger stores told...More

Super high end shops catering to the cruise ship clientele. Barkers are out on the street trying to entice everyone into their stores. I find this annoying. There are tents set up in a small area at one end of main street where you can...More

Jewelry shops everywhere but hardly any local craft people represented and all of the camera shops that used to be here seem to have disappeared. Nothing wrong with Jewelry shops but the former variety has definitely dropped off.

This is the Main Street that has most of the gem and jewelry stores and easy access to the many alleys with great stores and restaurants.

There are times when you are in the middle of the hussle and bustle, and need some space. Head down the road to Emancipation Gardens and you will find it. The gardens themselves are small with a bandstand in the centre and Fort Christian at...More

A few decades ago, Main Street (Dronningen's Gade) in Charlotte Amalie was the principal shopping center in St. Thomas; to a discerning eye, it's been replaced by the shopping mall built right next to where the cruise ships dock - 3 miles away. If all...More

Main Street has a lot of history and the friendly information booth has maps to show you where everything is at. On busy ship days it can get a little crowded, so be aware of that and check it out on a no cruise ship...More

I am not able to answer that question. I did visit several jewelry stores on the Island, but do not remember addresses. Just type in the name of the Jewelry store and you should be able to get that information.
