We went here at the request of one of our party, who is Jewish. After a steep climb to get there, it was more than we expected. Located at the back of the St Thomas Synagogue, one of the most historically interesting and best preserved buildings on St Thomas. Since some of the earliest Danish settlers were Jewish, this temple played an important role in the spiritual life of the colony. The museum exhibits depict the Jewish community's role on the island. Definitely worth a visit regardless... More
