Fantastic view and loved hearing about Sir Frances Drake! How he would sit up there and be on the lookout for pirate ships - would go down and attack them and take the plunder back to the queen. Loved Godfrey's tour!

We made a quick stop and the view of Magens Bay was fantastic. Definitely recommend stopping if you’re in the area and have a rental car.

Beautiful view of the island and beaches. It's on a very steep hill with little parking. Go when there is not a cruise ship in port as most of the parking was taken up by 2 tour buses

The views of Magan's Bay are great. The alleged history behind this seat are interesting. Hint to new visitors, beware crossing the road!

Nice panoramic view of Charlotte Amalie and the harbor. Nothing else at that location to do unless there are cruise ships in port then there are vendors. If you are driving around the island you would most likely drive close to here which would make it worth a stop.

There are about 200 great places to stop your car and take in the view. Apparently this one is famous. If you have come this far, got the extra 7 minutes to Mountain Top store and take in an even better view with a banana daiquiri in your hand! There are better views that you will stumble on, don’t make a trip just for this one.

This is the site where Sir Francis Drake looked for enemy ships of the Spanish fleet so it's a popular stop for visitors/tourists. Do yourself a favor and avoid this site when cruise ships are in.

That being said, the view of Magen's Bay is incredible! Just be careful, though, as the parking area is small and cars passing by it never seem to slow down.

We drove up to the Mountain Top and stopped here on the way. The view of Magen’s Bay is spectacular. Tours stop here and not much parking so need to time it just right. Bench to sit on to look at the view.

Great spot to observe beautiful Magen’s Bay and capture some amazing pics! Be sure to look behind you to see Drake’s seat. If you want to cross the road to sit on Drake’s seat, be very careful. Cars don’t always stop even though there is a crosswalk for pedestrians. Proceed safely to get a picture on the bench for the full experience. View is priceless and no cost!

This lookout has a great view! It requires a car or taxi to reach, but the view is beautiful! Worth a quick stop, especially if you are on your way to Magen's Bay.
