Stayed for the week. Peaceful & quiet (cruise ship excursions during the day, but not crazy crowded). All locals were great. 10 min ride to St Thomas mainland.

Beautiful beach, good food and cold drinks will make for a wonderful day at Water Island. When you get tired of doing the beach thing, then rent a golf cart and tour the island yourself at your own pace, taking as much picture time as...More

The best thing about honeymoon bay was that though there were nearly no fish, I did see a cute, small turtle. No coral. Fine for swimming but not snorkeling

Took a shore excursion when we docked in St. Thomas. This was an excellent choice for the two of us. The three hour trip and 1 1/2 hours spent on Water Island was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly and made sure everyone had a great...More

Took the water island taxi to honeymoon beach. Taxi operator was rude and had no idea how to deal with people. The beach was awesome but the bartenders must have been related to the water taxi driver....very abrupt with an older member of our group....More

We couldn't have asked for nicer people to vacation with. Great snorkeling during the day, and quiet at night. If you like some nightlife, just visit Honeymoon beach! Plenty of music, drink, horseshoes, darts, and dancing.

My wife and I had been to St. Thomas numerous times and had never gone to Water Island. We went on a Sunday when there were no cruise ships in Crown Bay. The day was fantastic. Great crowd and music at Dingy's. We rented a...More

If you are in the area, do not miss out on a day trip to Water Island. It’s a short boat ride from downtown St Thomas and I recommend that upon arrival, you walk up the hill to Rachel’s and rent a golf cart. She...More

Double check their websites for times and connections. There's a ferry from Cruz bay to St Thomas. I believe it only docks at Havensight Mall, the older cruise ship dock. From there you'll have to take a cab to Crown Bay... More

I'd be skeptical you could off the beach, but I'd check with the couple of bars on Honeymoon beach. Better, check with a couple of dive shops on St Thomas. Who will probably have their own trip for you, but might give you... More
