Fun with pigs

My kids had fun giving beer to the pigs. And I had a nice shot of Mama Wanna. Was a different and fun stop on our tour of the island

Upon arrival we were told the pigs were unavailable because it had been raining, mind you it was no longer raining. When I asked "why" Tabitha the bartender mocked me using hand gestures to describe that "when it rains it is slippery and dangerous for everyone involved". My husband and both kids (11,18) were shocked. She was absolutely and unbelievably... More

on your trip to/from rainbow beach, you can stop at the famous Mt. Pellier Domino Club, better known as Norma's. Norma is the brewmeister of MamaWanna - a rum, honey and herbs combo that cures whatever is wrong with you. Out in the rain forest, a cool little bar and a couple of beer drinking pigs. If you're going o... More

put rating as a 1 because there is no facility to give it zero. absolutely terrible experience, very large pig, in very small pen, force fed 'beer' by jeering tourists, like something out of the 1970's. You go into a forest, behind a locked door is a pig, when you pay your money, you are allowed in to see the... More

This was such an awesome experience. The drive up into the rainforest is a little rough and you definitely need to take it slow to avoid ruining your tires, but once you get to the top you will be pleasantly surprised. For a $2 admission and $1 a piece beer purchase you can give the pigs non-alcoholic O'douls beer. My... More

We live on the island part time. Have been to the beer drinking pigs a bunch of times. For a place that needs tourists to survive they cannot be worse. Went by the other day. Pigs were asleep apparently. I had a couple of young adults that we all 20/21 years old. Only place ever in STX that would not... More

This is a great drive into the rainforest and a lot of fun once you arrive. There is a small kitchen that serves great food (hamburgers, salmon burgers, etc.) The bar is great to spend a bit of time taking in the surroundings. Great service and friendly people.. This is something that is very unique to the island and really... More

Looking for something out of the ordainary? Check out this place. Go in and order a red strip and a mammawanna...just do it. After that kicks in pay the bartender a buck for an O'Douls and then go see the hogs. Tap the can on their pen and hold that can high in the air as they jump up and... More

What else can I say but this place is unique. This bar is out in the rainforest and has beer drinking pigs. The pigs squish the can and drink the beer then spit the can out. The bar has a fun atmosphere and great food. Just remember to bring cash it is a cash bar with no atm. If you... More

Beer drinking pigs......has to be good for a laugh. Charged $1.00 per person to just walk in and $2.00 for the non- alcoholic beer for the pigs. Is it silly and a waste of money? Yes of course it is but your on an island with nothing better to do so why not?! I've wasted more money and didn't get... More
