This is a nice little park in the center of the historic structures down by the water. Fort Christiansvaren boarders the northeastern side, as well as the customs house, and the scale house is at the southeast corner, with Hotel on the Cay a short ferry ride across the water. To the south is downtown and plenty of bars, restaurants,... More

The signage for information on the area is outdated and needing to be repaired so it is readable. A full dialogue and map of a Christiansted history tour would make it better. Love the chickens.

It is right by the docks between the fort and the docks really. Green grass, shade and a few benches and picnic tables. It is a nice place to just stop and take in the fresh ocean air and sounds of the nearby ocean. Grab a drink and take a load off. The locals call it being on island time... More

The park has the fort, the customs house and the scale house, plus it's green and taken care of. There is a park ranger stationed here, and they are worth talking to for 10-15 minutes. Great place to visit at night and see the stars too.

Beatiful site. Where you can see a little piece of the paradise. The park, the trees and the people..

This park represented the cultural history, but also the economics as homeless company were ever-present.

I don't know if I was there on a great weekend, but they had Jazz in the Park one night and Movie in the Park the next night. Really spacious and green park with some shade. A nice place to read, relax, or let the kids play

With plenty of places to rest under the shade of mahogany trees you should take a load off and imagine how the island has progressed over the last 500 years.

We were fortunate enough to be there on a last Friday of the month, where they put together a free concert in the park! This was a lovely spot, great views with benches throughout - which worked out nicely for us since we did not have any beach chairs or anything to sit on as we watched them prepare and... More

It was ok...a little uncomfortable with locals there...they even approached me and told me not to sit where I was sitting...they were not ugly...just made me nervous
