We toured the fort and it was pretty neat. Like Fort Frederiksted, it sits in the harbor and is full of the history of the area. Well worth the visit!

We live in Florida and have visited many forts from FL to SC and NC. Fort Christiansvaern is right at the top of the list. Well preserved, not crowded, and with the seniors pass we got in free! Don't miss it. Well worth the effort.

The fort is a self guided tour and has lots of things to see. If your in town you must not pass up the opportunity to see the fort. The parks people are friendly and knowledgeable about the fort.

Tons of interesting history and detail to see touring the fort. You are sent off with an information booklet so you can tour the fort at your own pace. A 'must do' if you have a history buff in the family or young kids.

A cost is listed at the entrance, but at the time we were there no one was working! I don't remember how much.
