A great piece of history to see on St Croix. It's only $3 to get in, free for military. The self-guided walking tour is interesting. I stayed about an hour. They were doing some excavating on the grounds and found some chaney! Very cool!

Take a self guided tour through the Fort in downtown Chrsitiansted. The park rangers have pamphlets which tell you about the history of the Fort. Go into the dungeon and sing a song in the great acoustics, realizing that slaves may have sung in those...More

You will find a large amount of infomation about life on St Croix during the time from about the 1600 early 1900, when the fort was still operational. Alot of information about Alexander Hamilton. A definite place to visit while in the USVI.

A cost is listed at the entrance, but at the time we were there no one was working! I don't remember how much.
