Love the timeline for St Croix and how St Croix helped shape the US. This National Park is in need of repair but it appears as they are facilitating those. Take a walk back in the past... visit the fort!

A really cool and well restored fort with lots of information. Lots of little spaces to explore and things to learn. Hit the shoreline to search for some chainey.

I really enjoyed Fort Christenstead. Wonderful piece of history clearly interrupted with signage. I could imagine pirate ships salon in and being stopped by the cannon. Sadly, slavery is part of the history of the island, however we need to learn from all aspects of...More

Very nice historic site right in the middle of Christiansted, VI. Only $7 to get in and a nice tour guide (written only, you have to give it back when finished). Great place to get views of the town and surrounding area.

This is a great place to start your adventure in St Croix. The old Fort has been maintained and is a neat place for kids and adults to see how life was in the early times.

A cost is listed at the entrance, but at the time we were there no one was working! I don't remember how much.

Yes, the story is in the Fort, and there is information also on a wall in the customs building across the street, where the information booth is. Quite an interesting story of young Alexander Hamilton! Much of the story... More
