Great fun in St. Croix

We enjoyed the kayaking. Great kayak with a pedal drive that was a new and fun experience. We set the tour up as our excursion from a cruise stop. Quick replies on emails. Setting up taxi in advance was a chore - and not necessary. We arranged for a driver, who wasn't there, but the taxi company at the port... More

This was the best day of our cruise. We booked the kayak tour prior to getting on the ship. I don't believe it was offered as a shore excursion on Celebrity. The kayaks were amazing. Pedals! Like a bicycle and a rudder for steering. It was easier than paddling, although there were paddles if you chose to use them. Our... More

We came with a Cruise ship, and the day tour was amazing! First of all, he boat was high-end, very stable and easy to propel. When we were approaching the ocean from the bay, the the waves were quite high, and to my surprise the kayak was very easy to handle and could make quick turns adjusted to the wave.... More

This is our first kayak tour, even though we live on the island. It was absolutely fantastic and our entire family had a wonderful time. The Hobie kayaks are amazingly stable, and the Mirage Drive propulsion is incredible. My seven-year-old daughter was in the front seat of our tandem kayak, and by herself she was able to propel our kayak... More

Took the Bioluminescent Kayaking tour on Thanksgiving with my wife and son. The kayaks are so easy to use (pedal-powered vs. having to use paddles). The biobay was beautiful. Jill, Bryan and their nephew were great guides and very knowledgeable on the area. The tour is a can't miss if you're visiting the island.

Loved our trip out on Salt River Bay. The Hobie kayaks are easy to handle, especially for inexperienced kayakers, and they behave well in the swells crossing the bay. Our three tour guides were great - helpful, safety conscious and informative. It was a unique and very pleasant experience to be out on the water at night. The bioluminescence was... More

Sadly, due to high winds and driving rains, we backed out of our "kayak in shadow of Christopher Columbus @ Salt River River Bay Nat'l. Park" expedition just 20 minutes prior to boarding the mini-van at our pier in St. Croix, USVI. The reason I'm writing to to PRAISE both JILL UPDYKE (VKT) and RASHIDA (round trip port to marina... I did lots of research before I booked it. The couple who runs the tours is great and knowledgeable about the island. The kayaks are easy to use and you have your hands free, which allows you to catch a jellyfish or take pictures. Try the tour at night. You can also jump out and swim if you are brave... More

We took the salt river kayak tour during the daytime Bryan was our guide, he was very informative and knew a lot about the history on St. Croix as well as how to kayak. His kayaks were different from the ones I was used to. The kayaks had a foot pedal that was easy to use compared to an oar.... More

We heard about the Bio Bay kayaking tours and had to check it out. First let me say that if you have ever seen a picture of the lights in a bio luminescent bay it is photoshopped. A camera (not even a really expensive one) will pick up the lights. It is amazing! To pass your hand through the water... More
