You need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to get here, but it's well worth the trip to this scenic and secluded beach, perfect for swimming, and a barrier reef for snorkeling.

Bring your gear, you will not regret it. Saw sting ray, barracuda and squid. Hike out later in the day and the hike is easier because of the mountain side shade.

It takes a short hike down from parking near Udall Point monument but is worth it. Good snorkeling to see coral and associated fish inside the reef protecting you from waves and ensuring clearer water. No amenities so bring whatever you need. No shade either.

I highly recommend the trail hike from the Point Udall parking area to the beach. The views from the trail are amazing and beautiful. The beach itself is very nice… minimal coral, plenty of space to find your own private area, and great swimming. We...More

Big plus, it is right at point Udall! You park off the side of the road and hike all the way down to an amazing beach where you will likely be one of very few people there. The hike is a good distance, not exactly...More

Worth the hike. Be for warned that petty crimes happen on the island. Do not leave anything in the car. We rolled down the windows and left the car unlocked. We had no trouble then. Beautiful Hike, Excellent Beach and good snorkeling. About a 20...More

2 mile round trip hike. Totally worth it. Beach is beyond gorgeous. You will often find the entire beach to your self. No amenities. Seasonal turtle nesting.

On the East End of the island park in a small parking area and take a 20 minute hike around the hills to two beautiful and secluded bays. Take water and have good walking/hiking shows.

Walked in from wayside parking lot and it was about 1.5-2 miles. I would suggest going early in the morning as there is only one spot of shade on the beach, a makeshift hut made from washed up logs and it is first come-first serve....More

A cab. I wouldn't walk it only because I didn't see a sidewalk and the road is narrow and curvy. I'd ask the driver to pick you up in 3 hours at the place he leaves you
