I have never snorkeled before and I was amazed at all the beautiful sea life I saw while snorkeling at the Buck Island national monument. Not to be missed!! I'll definitely return again someday.

Go on a boat tour to the island. Snorkel or swim- your choice. You can hike buck island as well. Be sure to bring hiking shoes if you choose to do this. Great view from top of island.

We sailed over to Buck Island with Captain Carl of Buck Island Charters. The sail over is part of the experience so check out your options and go for a laid back sail and take in the scenery, beautiful water and sights along the way....More

We had a wonderful day here on a snorkeling trip with Bigbeards. The beach is beautiful with white sand and crystal clear blue water. The reef had great snorkeling with a lot of fish and we even saw a school is reef squid.

Snorkeling only. No diving allowed. Access by boats with permits only. There are several tour companies who go to Buck Island, ranging from $35 to $70 for a 3 hour tour. $70 is too much, in my opinion.

There are a number of tour companies who leave from Christiansted. Check them out individually. You can get taxis easily from Fredricksted to Christiansted at any time.
