We had read some reviews of Malcolm’s beach and decided to make the effort to get out there from Grace Bay Beach. We didn’t have luck renting a Jeep, but did manage to rent a small Honda suv. After traveling from the main road, you will definitely be holding your breath riding on the rocky bleach colored sand blistered paths…very bumpy, isolated areas. Would NOT recommend driving in a standard car, the roads are very uneven with large holes, you can easily lose a tire and there isn’t anyone around to assist you. The road is very hilly , when you reach the cell towers continue to pass and push on until you see the beach pavilion straight ahead. The view is stunning and you will definitely feel it was all worth it. The Amanyara resort is down the beach, if you venture to the right of the pavilion it’s like paradise. There are some gaps between the reefs that you can swim between, the water is glorious ! Definitely pack some cold beverages, food and sunscreen , no bathrooms
…enjoy 🏝

You have b@11s of steel if you attempt this in a sedan. I would never. We rented a jeep from DnB auto rental - only $80 for the day! I'd really recommend this approach. The road is treacherous - people are not exaggerating. It's VERY fun to do in a Jeep!!

Once you get there it is a beautiful, isolated beach. We were the only ones there when we arrived in the morning and by the time we left there were maybe 4 other groups.

The artificial reef is cool to see, but don't expect to see too many cool sights. We just saw a few fish. Don't go just for the snorkeling let's say that

Also heads up - no facilities so bring your own TP, water and snacks!

Beautiful views. Crystal clear water. Great gazebo. We didn’t get a chance to snorkel which was disappointing. It was our fault because we simply went on a site seeing tour. But there were clearly great places to snorkel. I would highly recommend checking it out, although the road there is a rough you might want to be in a Jeep!!b

If you like solitude you may find it here. You need durable tires and a jeep or truck would be best. Long unpaved road to the beach. No frills, no thrills, no bathrooms. Just a deserted beach. Weather was not good when we went so we did not stay but even if it had been good not sure I would have stayed with the family. We experienced no problems but if you were ever gonna be robbed this could be the place. I felt uneasy enough that we moved on. Didn't want to leave the girls on the beach by themselves while we snorkeled. There are cameras there. However, if you had a problem, help would be a long time getting there.

We followed the advice of previous reviewers and rented a Jeep just to get to this beach. Definitely glad we did as our other rental car wouldn't have made it!! It's a bit of a bumpy ride getting here but once you arrive, you're truly in paradise. We had the place to ourselves most of the day with just a couple people walking by from time to time. There is a resort at the far end. The beach is pristine with glorious water, sand, and coastline. No restaurants, no bars, and no restrooms that I could see - just FYI! We packed a cooler and stayed all day.

Stunning beach with very few people and easy snorkeling ( 2 adults and 12 year old). The drive was not difficult at all, we had a Jeep Renegade and had no problems. I highly recommend spending the day and then eating at Da Conch Shack on the way home, a perfect day!

Beautiful remote beach. We were able to drive there in a small rental car no problem, despite all the reviews. Yes the road is not great but totally doable. The beach is very nice but the snorkeling doesn’t offer much at all. We were expecting much based on prior reviews but didn’t see almost anything despite swimming out quite far.

Lots of gullys and pot holes. Don’t need a 4x4 but a vehicle that is a little higher off the ground. Once we got there around 3pm, were swarmed by mosquitoes. Stayed for 15 mins and could not take it anymore. Not worth the effort to get there, if you want somewhere off the beaten path, go to half moon bay at Iguana Island instead.

Nearly deserted beach with an interesting artificial reef to snorkel around. We had a 4WD Jeep but the road was dry and we never needed 4WD - however, higher ground clearance was certainly helpful in a few spots when the rocks got bumpy. There is a small covered pavilion between the parking area and beach which is helpful to get out of the sun for a little while. There are NO other amenities - bring all your water, etc. If you like snorkeling or beachwalking but hate crowds then this is the place to be!

What can I say; it was a treacherous ride on the road leading to the beach; saw someone's bumper on the side of the road. The road or what of it is almost impassable- large gullies, rocks, etc. Drove it with a rental Honda CRV and just barely made it. I wouldn't recommend the drive with anything less than a 4x4 or Jeep. Once we arrived, we knew we made the right decision. Beautiful water and no one else in sight. Had the whole beach to ourselves for the entire day. Paradise!
