    Beautiful Views & Warm Waters
Great couple of hours relaxing in the warmer water. Easy path to follow onto the beach. Two dogs with collars were on the beach and moving from group to the next. Both looked friendly enough, however, one of the dogs started barking at us and came running towards us. The dog slowed down when it got closer and just walked passed up and then return to its original position under a tree. Less than 5 minutes later two people showed up and were setting up when the dog did the same thing. We decided to depart immediately after that happened. I became fearful the dog would do something and the owner was no where to be found. Be careful of the dogs.

    Favorite beach!
Still my favorite beach in Provo! Taylor Bay is quiet and secluded and not overbuilt or overcrowded. I love the beautiful shallow water! We did not encounter any dogs while on the beach so we cannot confirm or deny the existence of “Ron’s dogs.” We love the peacefulness of Taylor Bay. If you are looking for amenities stick to Grace Bay!

Lovely beach in front of villas
Lovely quiet beach when we went. Make a U turn when you reach the end of Ocean point drive and park next to sign tennis court path. The narrow path is where the big sign says Ocean Point Drive. It has a green chain link fence. Do not use the tennis court path as it is wrong. The water is warm and shallow. I saw the 5 dogs on the beach. As I was leaving, the white big dog bark at me. I love dogs but I don’t like dogs barking at me. Be careful not to go near them as I am not sure they are friendly. Bring your own mat/chair/umbrella and a picnic. So worth the visit.

Loving it a little less cause of people.
Was there Friday 11/10 still beautiful but......nothing good lasts forever.....been going there for at least 12 years. Two changes this year which were disheartening. First was a tour boat pulled up by entrance & picked up group of 8. Second jet skis from sapodilla bay pulled in & were canvassing for business. Most crowded I've ever seen it probably 80 people Also some class less people approaching 50 guzzling beers on a mission & had to fit the f-word 3 or 4 times into every sentence & not a prude I grew up in Brooklyn.

    stunning, quiet beach!
Worth the drive to get there - it's quiet, mostly empty, no vendors, calm water, nice views. Bring your own shade, lots of water, and a garbage bag to do a beach clean. The sand was really clean but the vacant lots behind it hold the storm refuse, I filled a grocery bag in about 30 mins of picking. We ate on the Chalk Sound afterward which was stunning, made for a nice late lunch end to a lovely, quiet, perfect caribbean beach day. There are crowds at the east end, so go all the way down the sketchy, potholed road about 1/2 mile to the west end of the beach and park the car off to the side and walk the paths to the beach. easier than it looks once you park.

    Small and lovely
We went in the morning to just chill. We walked the whole beach which was lovely. I really liked the pine trees on the beach, I had not see them before. Google directions got us right to the path to enter the beach. We were there until noon and herds of people with kids where coming in. Which makes sense because there a no waves, very kid safe.

    A MUST
It's a little tricky to get here so ask a local. From the road - where you must part- It's a 1 minute walk. Bring your own chair or just a towel. Gorgeous- you can wade out quite a way but I wouldn't do swimming beyond your footing.

Sun bunnies beach, if quiet atmosphere is what you are looking for
Great quiet beach, off of Ocean Point drive, access is off the right hand side of the road, near Moonshadow residence. Park on the street. Beautiful green colour to the sea, and shallow depth, can walk our forever (no snorkeling so don't bother bringing equipment)

Shallow beach, stay for the sunset
This is a phenomenal beach. We got here late afternoon and parked on the street off Ocean Point Drive. The water here is really shallow so you can't really swim. You can walk out really far and still be only up to your knees. My kids really liked it (I did too.) We stayed to watch the sunset on the beach. It was really pretty, even though it was a pretty mellow sunset that day. The beach was really clean and we felt like we had way more space to spread out away from people than at other beaches we visited. We brought our own chairs and umbrella. There are no vendors on this beach, so you need to bring your own stuff.

    Perfection
I could pitch a tent in live on this beach. You CAN snorkel here - just walk to the far end and go out around the rocky coast. Saw lots of cool fish. We initially came because Grace Bay was so rocky. Spent most of our time here just sitting in the calmest, clearest water we’ve ever seen.

Read some reviews so we decided to check it out….so glad we did! Only about 20 people on the beach with us. The water is stunning, shallow, and simply amazing. Highly recommend!

We found this beach, parked our car and walked down the driveway, which was a long incline. The water was gorgeous and easy to swim in, no waves. Clear water and clean. we enjoyed just walking in the shallow water & looking at the beautiful homes & boats. We were able to put out chairs under a tree for shade. everyone was respectful & calm, no wild parties or loud music, Just peace & beauty...

The water is very shallow, perfect for kids. The water colors changes with the movement of the sun and the clouds and makes so many different shades of blue, white, green, it looks incredible we took so many pictures but I cannot upload too many the tripadvisor website is very slow when I try to upload pictures. Anyway, this beach is much different than Grace Bay. Also when on Grace Bay is windy here is not, try to rent a car and come to visit if you can! There are no food and drinks vendors or chairs, bring your own. I read about dogs before, we saw 3 big dogs there sleeping on the beach under a tree but they were not moving from there and I think in the meantime they git used to people. More people knows about it and were a lot on the beach but still not crowded. The dogs started at one moment barking at a tourist that came around them but he was relaxed and they stopped. We did not go where the dogs were, but there were people lying on the beach near the dogs and they had no problem. Very idyllic!

We loved Taylor Bay the first day. Absolutely loved it: pristine water where one can walk out very far. The second day (March 15th) at 11:30 a.m., a huge shark chasing its prey appeared out of nowhere at lightning speed and headed straight towards the beach. The most frightening experience of our lives. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Up until that moment, it felt calm & serene…

Our group of four were at this beach twice. On our first visit, a very light breeze was out of the NE so the bay was completely protected. The surface of the water was literally like glass, and clear all the way to the bottom with barely believable colors. We walked out well over 400 yards and the water was only waist high. With beverage in hand we walked around talking with other travelers, which seemed to be the main activity. This is also a gorgeous beach for littles; no serf to speak of and the sand in the water is like powder with the shore being only slightly more coarse. We saw come rays scooting along the bottom to the east edge of the bay near some of the beautiful homes on the shoreline. Ok snorkeling over there. We stayed and watched the sun go down over the water and it was gorgeous.

Our second visit was a polar opposite. It was midday and a moderate SW breeze was up causing 2-4 foot waves. The bay was one big kite surfer's haven! There were 5-10 surfers going at any given time with some being lifted 8-12 feet off the water. Way cool to watch! It was still fine for us to walk into the water but we kept to the edges to give them space. We helped several down their kits when they came to shore and it was a great exposure to the sport. They explained some things to us and said even they got a little shook up when the kites lifted them higher than what they were used to. Three were instructors who told us the basics and have me considering the sport. What a blast to be there!

It is a bit hard to find: Google Maps will get you to the general area but don't be fooled by the first bunch of cars parked along Chalk Sound Drive. That will be Sapodilla Beach which is the party beach with food and drink vendors. Great energy if that's what you're looking for. About 1/3 of a mile beyond and to the left is Ocean Point Drive that will take you to Taylor Bay. Watch for a walled walkway with green chain-link fence to your right surrounded by a few cars parked along the road. This is a more upscale neighborhood so the usual precautions with your vehicle aren't as necessary. Walk about 200 yards and you're there. Have a great time!
