Definitely worth the visit!

LOVE! Hard to find but worth the trip. Very beautiful and secluded. Bring your own drinks and picnic lunch. The water is ankle deep and crystal clear for at least 100 yards.

Colors of Water That Cannot Be Described
Jul 2021
Past reviews were very helpful in terms of finding the beach. However, by way of brief update, the parking area (which can only handle 6 cars or so), will be on the right as you drive down Ocean Point Drive. The walkway to the beach is just beyond it, with an off-white wall running down the left side of the path. The villas described in previous reviews as being under construction appear to still be being built, and again will be on your left side as you head down the trail to the beach.

I would strongly recommend that you go when the sun is out. For the first 2 hours we were there, the sun was out and the colors in the water honestly exploded into different shades of turquoise and blue. By the time we left, a storm was rolling through and the cloud cover really dulled the ocean colors.

We visited in July 2021, and the beach was certainly not empty by 10:00 AM. In order to insure you get a parking spot, you should probably arrive by 9:00 AM or so, although that can fluctuate. In any event, it is well worth the effort, especially on a sunny day. Enjoy!!

Beautiful, but rocky
Jun 2021
We stayed in a villa on a private street on Taylor Bay Beach. We thought the beach was lovely, the water was gorgeous, and it was never very busy. BUT, there are a lot of rocks to avoid while walking on the beach, and entering the water. So if you have water shoes, you may want to pack them (wish I had them). During high tide, you make your way over the rocks, and can go out into the water, and just use a floatie, or just hang out and keep cool. During low tide, you can see the rocks to avoid easier, but must walk quite a distance to be able to cool off in the water. If you can find it, I'd recommend a visit.

Breathtaking beach!
Jun 2021
I've never seen a beach anything like this before. As many reviewers have already said, the water is shallow within almost no waves - perfect for laying in the water with a drink! The water is clear with a beautiful tinge of turquoise. Yes, there is no bar on the beach and the shore is not very expansive but both times I visited there was almost no one there. It's the perfect spot to hang out in the water till your fingers are pruney.

Eh, wouldn’t bother to go again

Not sure what the buzz is about with this beach. Yes you can walk waaay out and it’s knee deep the whole way and it’s a beautiful greenish water but the beach area is smallish. We were both fairly underwhelmed. We spent about 1/2 hour there and headed out.

Amazing

This was a little difficult to find, but worth the effort. Turn left off of chalk sound drive into ocean point drive. About half way down the road, look for a pull off on the right. There is parking for about 6 cars. Look for a big stone that says ocean point. This will be your access to the beach. It is a unpaved path with a fence on both sides. You will also see a sign saying access to the the tennis courts. The path is to the left of this. When you get to the beach walk to the far right. We went to the right of the tree if looking at the water. We had that whole section of beach to ourselves. The water was gorgeous. The entrance to the water from the shore is really rocky. Walk over this and you can go 150 yards out into the water at waist level as an adult. Great spot for the kids.

One of TCI great beaches - fabulous for a day on the white sand - flat and shallow - should be a day trip to anyone touring Providenciales - recommend highly esp with children

Sunset Beauty
Apr 2021
Walkable beach from our villa, perfect to wade way out & see the fish & turtles. Went there 4 different nights to watch the sunset disappear into the water. We almost always had the beach to ourselves. Felt safe

Taylor Bay is a bit tricky to find, but it’s worth it. The water is so shallow, clear and calm. We waded pretty far out and it was only at our ankles. There were a few sting rays in the water. Would go back!
